True Blood‘s Joe Manganiello has a featured in the new issue of Men’s Health!
In the issue (via Daily Mail UK):
Manganiello expounds on his difficult path to Hollywood stardom, revealing that his muscular physique was initially a barrier to getting plum acting roles.

True Blood star Ryan Kwanten is featured in the Us Weekly‘s Hot Bodies 2012 list!
We’re thinking it was no-brainer decision to add him to the list! I mean, have you seen him on True Blood?
In the issue Ryan talks his secret to his hot bod: “I do lots of hiking, swimming and running on the beach. Mixing it up is key. I’m a bit of a masochist, to be honest. Anything that builds up sweat, I’m into to it. But I never go to the gym. Too many guys grunting and looking at themselves in the mirror. That has no appeal for me.”
True Blood returns June 10 at 9/8c on HBO.

Anna Paquin is featured in the Summer 2012 issue of Fashion Canada.
In the issue Anna talks hubby Stephen Moyer:
“Work does come up pretty frequently, because that is how we spend most of our year. Aside from trying to spend no more than two or three weeks apart, I’ve never been one for rules in a relationship. I don’t have any guidelines on how much shop talk we have at home.”
She also talks her role as Sookie on True Blood:
“There have always been aspects of her that I connect to, empathize with and understand – that’s the only way I can approach my job. You have to find a common ground with any character. I spend a lot of time with scripts, looking for my truth.”
She’ll return to TV as True Blood‘s fifth season premieres June 10 on HBO.

True Blood‘s Alexander Skarsgård was recently named one of the 50 Most Stylish Men by GQ Australia.
To be exact, he’s ranked #5 out of 50!
From GQ Australia:

The Viking
It’s not such a bad predicament to be faced with — being six foot four and having the looks of a Nordic god. But Skarsgård, Eric Northman in HBO’s True Blood, knows he risks being typecast as the good-looking hunk in cheesy chick flicks. “The nice thing is that as long as I’m doing this TV show I’ve got f**k-you money,” Skarsgard has told GQ. “So I can say no to things. I never want to be in a position where I can’t defend why I say yes.”
We like that as a motto for life. Do what you truly believe in doing and you’ll never have to defend yourself to anyone.

True Blood hottie Ryan Kwanten will guest star on Fox’s new hit show New Girl, reports E! Online.
Kwanten will guest star in the Valentine’s Day episode!
Here’s the synopsis of the episode:
Jess (Zooey Deschanel) will be celebrating her first Valentine’s Day in six years as a single girl, and what better way to do that than with a meaningless one-night stand? So she drags Schmidt (Max Greenfield) out to a bar to be her wingman, and that is when she meets Oliver (Kwanten). Jess quickly finds out that she has nothing in common with him, which is really the last thing you should care about when it comes to someone who looks like that.
So the question is…will Kwanten have his Aussie accent?
We’ll have to tune in in February 2012 to find out!
New Girl airs Tuesdays on Fox.

Alexander Skarsgård & Kate Bosworth are featured in the September 2011 issue of BlackBook Magazine.
In the issue:
Alexander Skarsgård and Kate Bosworth may have parted ways romantically, but they’re still burning up the double cover of our September issue, hitting newsstands next week. Did we mention this also marks BlackBook‘s 15th anniversary issue? Take a moment to dive through 15 years of our covers, with the opportunity to get up close and personal with Alex and Kate’s cover shots at the end. What else is going on in this issue, you might ask?
Of course, we have the rundown on who’s hot and getting hotter, such as the comely Amber Heard playing bold and Playboy Bunny as the situation requires. Indie darling Brit Marling goes intergalactic with Another Earth. Rising dude-star Joel Edgertontalks going bare-knuckle and bloody for Warrior. The astoundingly gorgeous Vera Farmiga steps behind the camera for Higher Ground while staying in front of it too. Paul Rudd and Adam Scott are happy to get stupid for Our Idiot Brother. Lenny Kravitz speaks of his formative years and formative influences, while indie-pop quintet Twin Sister speaks softly and carries no sticks. Max Minghella walks us through his favorite Los Angeles haunts. And Kat Dennings is prepared to describe all the ways you’ve annoyed her, so far.
Given that this is our birthday, we felt a few presents were in order. So we asked 15 pastBlackBook cover stars to send us celebratory wishes, in whatever manner they deemed appropriate. Check out birthday cards from James Franco, Scarlett Johannson,Christina Ricci, Diddy, and more. We went a step further in the cover department, sending our all-black first issue cover to artists Adam Green, Curtis Kulig, David Shrigley, Eve Sussman, and Dustin Yellin so they could re-interpret BlackBook in their own distinctive styles. And then we came up with several takes on our 15 best moments of the past 15 years, as well some of our … less fine moments.
Of course, it’s fashion season, so we have amazing fashion features from two very different worlds: the put-together super-prepster on the new jack campus, and the decidedly un-preppy, unapologetic night-world of New York mistress of ceremonies Ladyfag. Not to mention the usual buffet of hot new nightspots, restaurants, hotels, shops, reviews, and more. We’ll be rolling out September magazine content right on this very website very soon, so stay tuned. And watch out for details on our big birthday bash on September 7 at the Dream Downtown.
Both Bosworth and Skarsgård shot the upcoming film Straw Dogs which releases September 16.
Alex’s also featured in True Blood airing Sundays at 9/8c on HBO.

Kirsten Dunst and Alexander Skarsgård are both featured in the September 2011 issue of Wonderland.
This issue is also the mag’s Priceless issue. In the issue:
This September, Wonderland’s “Priceless” issue celebrates all the things that money can’t necessarily buy – specifically: talent, style, taste and supreme luxury. Cover stars Kirsten Dunst and Alexander Skarsgård take the lead, talking sex, danger, nudity and apocalypse in light of their starring roles in Lars Von Trier’s epic Melancholia.
Joining them are rising film talents Jessica Chastain and Emily Browning, as well as a portfolio of young Hollywood stallions shot by renowned LA photographer Paul Jasmin. In music, we profile the world’s most defiantly un-commercial self-made musicians, from exciting new London label Night Slugs to Twitter rap sensation Lil B.
In art, we go shopping with Tracey Emin, interview Auto Destructive art legend Gustav Metzger, and tap maverick fashion designer Walter Van Beirendonck to recommend some of his personal art heroes.
Fashion taps into autumn’s key message: more is never enough, showcasing the season’s lurid skins, dark fetishes and strictly limited pieces. Then there’s commentary from the industry’s finest, including Tom Ford, Margherita Missoni, Peter Marino and Victoire de Castellane.
The Priceless issue is available in all good newsagents and bookshops from August 26 (next week). Until then enjoy the covers.
Their new film Melancholia opens in theaters in the UK on September 30 and in North America on November 11. Alex’s also featured in True Blood airing Sundays at 9/8c on HBO.
