We’re thinking it was no-brainer decision to add him to the list! I mean, have you seen him on True Blood?
In the issue Ryan talks his secret to his hot bod: “I do lots of hiking, swimming and running on the beach. Mixing it up is key. I’m a bit of a masochist, to be honest. Anything that builds up sweat, I’m into to it. But I never go to the gym. Too many guys grunting and looking at themselves in the mirror. That has no appeal for me.”

True Blood hottie Ryan Kwanten will guest star on Fox’s new hit show New Girl, reports E! Online.
Kwanten will guest star in the Valentine’s Day episode!
Here’s the synopsis of the episode:
Jess (Zooey Deschanel) will be celebrating her first Valentine’s Day in six years as a single girl, and what better way to do that than with a meaningless one-night stand? So she drags Schmidt (Max Greenfield) out to a bar to be her wingman, and that is when she meets Oliver (Kwanten). Jess quickly finds out that she has nothing in common with him, which is really the last thing you should care about when it comes to someone who looks like that.
So the question is…will Kwanten have his Aussie accent?
We’ll have to tune in in February 2012 to find out!

Ryan Kwanten is featured in the November 2011 issue of Men’s Health UK.
In the issue Ryan talks traveling with his parents:
“I went to Milan for the first time this year and I took my mom and dad. As you can imagine, it’s pretty interesting traveling with your parents. But I gave them a hard time when I was growing up and it’s nice to be able to repay them a bit now.”
He also talks his new film Not Suitable for Children:
“My character is a free-spirited rogue who holds crazy parties every Saturday night. At one party we see my character enjoying himself with a young lady. She discovers a lump – and it turns out he has testicular cancer. He has two weeks to get someone pregnant before he’s rendered infertile. [The film] explores the male biological clock and how we too have a clock that’s ticking.”

Ryan Kwanten is featured in the new issue of YRB Magazine, looking fab as usual.
In the issue Ryan talks being different than his TB character Jason Stackhouse:
“I mean, he looks a lot like me [Laughs]… but I’m much more of a beach kind of guy than a Southern boy. I’m a very sort of analytical guy. I think too much about even the most mundane things that shouldn’t really require that much thought. But Jason doesn’t really have that [trait] to think things all the way through.”
He talks TB’s fourth season:
“The storyline is just out of control this season, like really, really good. Fans can expect to be rocked! There are some scenes that should have people talking for some time. We have had so much fun shooting this season and I’m looking forward to seeing how people respond to it.”
He talks Aussie vs. U.S. women:
“I grew up, obviously, with Australians so I know Australian women, but American women are such a foreign thing to me; it’s not what I’m used to. I like the diversity [in the U.S.] In Australia, you can’t really tell if someone is from Sydney or Brisbane or Perth, but here you can tell if a girl is from Boston or somewhere down South or L.A. There’s a way that they carry themselves, a swagger, or [it’s in] the way they talk. And I like that.”
Ryan also talks unwinding after work:
“I love my job, but when I wrap each day I like to get as far away from the world of make believe as possible. Maybe that means a run on the beach, catching up with friends or getting out of town. I want to be doing what I do for a long time, and for me, privacy, quality of life and longevity go hand in hand.”

True Blood‘s Ryan Kwanten rescued an injured man Friday night in Hollywood, reports JustJared.com.
A source says, “There was a bloody guy lying in the middle of the street at Hollywood and Highland and no one was doing anything. Ryan pulled up, saw the man down, jumped out of his car, and raced over to see if he could help.”
Kwanten stayed with the injured man until paramedics arrived on the scene.
No comment has been made from his reps.
We hope they injured man is doing better thanks to Ryan!

The entire cast of True Blood attended PaleyFest 2011 on Saturday, March 5th at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, CA.
The stars along with creator Alan Ball dished on what’s new in season 4 including:
- Lots of witches, a new werewolf character, wiccans, and shape shifters
- Sheriff Andy Bellefleur played by Chris Bauer will start to experiment with V
- Guest stars include Gary Cole (The Good Wife & Office Space) and Fiona Shaw
- Characters Godric (Alan Hyde) and Russell Edgington (Denis O’Hare) (he’ll be “pissed”) both return
- We’ll see a more vulnerable side to Eric played by Alexander Skarsgård, hmmm maybe the amnesia will take in effect!
- We’ll see a more “stable” Tara (Rutina Wesley)
- Some rough patches ahead for Jessica (Deborah Ann Holl) and Hoyt (Jim Parrick)
- Jesus (Kevin Alejandro) and Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) are still happy with another, but will they explore “magic” together? Sounds like Lafayette is under Jesus’ spell!
- Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Sookie (Anna Paquin) will split for now, as she’s still hurt from his betrayal (and when he was acting like a douche!)
- Arlene (Carrie Preston) and Terry (Todd Lowe) have troubles with their unborn “demon” child as she see it
- Ryan Kwanten dished on his character Jason Stackhouse in season 4 saying, “lots of good things, lots of intriguing things, and hopefully lots of watchable things happen”
- Bill and Sophie-Anne’s (Evan Rachel Wood) fight will be addressed early on as Ball says, “It’s not just the two of them in this fight.”
