RHOA episode 14 “No Bones About It” reaction

After visiting the orphanage the ladies have some dinner and are actually nice to each other…let’s see how long this peace will last. Next they are off to a museum where they get to meet a local herbalist that reads fortune, but Phaedra ain’t having it.

The herbalist tells Kandi she’ll marry the man she is living with. Kandi explains this man died…the herbalist says he’s still with her like he’s still her man! Marlo needs to find a real man to marry and hasn’t found him yet. The herbalist says Sheree won’t marry again, she needs to just stay in her house as she is old now. Ouch.

As for NeNe, the bones say she isn’t happy and her husband is a good man but if she isn’t happy then she shouldn’t stay with him. Then there’s Cynthia…and apparently she is happy in her marriage…yeah right Mr. Bones.

Later the ladies bond at a pajama slumber party and talk quickly turns to sex. Suddenly Kandi and Marlo have a lot more in common than they thought! The next morning Marlo is sick in bed, throwing up and all and NeNe helps take care of her. Phaedra is sure the witch doctor put the “hoo-joo” on Marlo because she was mocking him…LOL Phaedra could be right!! Call Mr. Bones or better yet, call the Ghostbusters!

At lunch NeNe says that Kim is the captain to team small and that comment totally pisses off Kandi. Later Team Small calls Kim back home as Sheree calls out Kandi for not thinking that Kim would have come to play with the little black babies!! But Kandi reminds them that it was Cynthia who said that! Seems like there are some cracks in Team Small.

On their last night they all dress in traditional outfits for their last dinner in South Africa. So Kandi calls out Sheree for telling Kim that orphanage comment and Cynthia confirms that she said that. NeNe reminds them that all they were doing was reporting to their boss lady?? That sets off Kandi…then she starts up with Marlo and her labels…like can we feed the animals in the zoo as they are starting to get to kill each other.

Next time on “From Motherland to Haterville”:

The ladies leave South Africa as Peter wants to do something for his first anniversary with Cynthia, Kim bitches to Sheree about the orphanage comment, and Peter tells NeNe that Bryson is in jail so she should bail his ass out. And Kandi tries to defend herself in front of Kim and Sheree.

A new episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired on February 13, the ladies are still in South Africa & Marlo/Sheree are still fighting! Here’s our take on it:

So we are back in South Africa and right back in the middle of Marlo & Sheree’s screaming match about air mattresses and Rolexes as NeNe tries to act as peacemaker. At one point they stop using words and they just make odd sounds at each other until NeNe shoves Marlo upstairs to ready for Nobu as Team Small head off to Kevin’s house for a dinner party.

The dinner party starts off with some fire dancers and it seems like Kandi finds an admirer at the table. Sitting beside her was an up and coming producer who mentions he’s a huge fan of Xscape! But Kandi isn’t into the idea of him being jobless since he is a model and all. Is she nuts or what??

Team Tall hit Nobu as Marlo tells everyone to Google her to check her charges! After dinner, Team Tall heads over to the club as Team Small arrive with Kevin in tow. Well Marlo just can’t seem to stop fronting as she actually throws a wad of cash into the air…making it rain moneeey! How embarrassing as Phaedra and Kandi scramble to pick up all the bills and Phaedra even puts her new found cash in a safe place…in her bra! You go girl!

Next the ladies are off to Shamwari Game Reserve to do a safari! Marlo needs someone to do her hair and make up. I agree with Phaedra…get over yourself girlfriend! They can’t even agree on what rooms to take so they draw numbers as NeNe and Marlo getting the smaller older suite.NeNe then gets flowers brought to her at the breakfast table from her admirer John. Wow who knew you can get FTD delivered to South Africa?

I laughed so hard when Marlo and her disco pants asked to have someone carry her ass out to the jeeps! So they head off and it’s all Lion King live out there. Next up is a visit with a local orphanage. Before they get there, the ladies meet some fun school kids and they all bust out some dance moves together! So the ladies head into a small store to buy some treats for the locals, food for the school kids and supplies to an orphanage filled with abused and HIV infected kids who later break out into song! Maybe now the ladies can understand just how blessed they really are…

And next time:

In “No Bones About It” the ladies try to play nice until a phone call to Kim back home threatens to derail the South African train…again.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta will welcome a new cast member and she’s the daughter of billionaire/media mogul/CNN founder Ted Turner.

The National Enquirer reports Ted’s daughter Laura will likely join the show.

Here’s what The Enquirer reports:

“Bravo wants to give the Atlanta series a face-lift, so it’s out with the old and in with the new!” an insider told The ENQUIRER.

“Laura was featured earlier this season attending a charity event with housewife NeNe Leakes. She was so appealing that producers kept her in mind. The producers want to add some class to the sass, and Laura fits the bill.”

The mother of three is still very close to her Oscar-winning former stepmother Jane Fonda. A well-known Atlanta socialite, Laura is an environmental advocate who’s married to millionaire Rutherford Seydel.

She’ll join a show that’s already lost Kim Zolciak to a Bravo spinoff while NeNe has yet to renew her contract, the source said. Grammy winner Kandi Burruss has been assured a spot next season, but Sheree Whitfield and Phaedra Parks are still negotiating, according to the source.

“They’re hoping Laura can bring some classy events and big names into the mix. Of course, an appearance by Laura’s father Ted and his ex Jane would be the icing on the cake. Now that’s Atlanta’s high society!”

RHOA airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.

A new episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired on January 29 and we watched as the drama continued in South Africa! Here’s our take on it:

The ladies head off to the motherland South Africa for 10 days with Marlo in tow. Team Short gets invited to Sheree’s friend home for a dinner party as Team Tall gets bitter.

Kim is struggling at home alone with her two boobs and four kids, including Sweetie! Kim’s parents come over to cook her up some food and discuss when Kroy will pop the big question??

Next the ladies head off on a sunset yacht cruise and Marlo is still talking etiquette but things quickly set off between Kandi and Marlo then Cynthia and Phaedra and then NeNe calls out Phaedra! Marlo mentions the tension between NeNe and Sheree…but they just play it off until later. Marlo steps up to Sheree like some high school bully as she calls Sheree a f*g-loving ugly stupid ass bitch that has no home and was just at Onyx with a drug dealer!?

But Sheree fires backs exposing Marlo’s big billionaire papi as an 80 year-old white man! But Marlo says with Sheree’s low self-esteem that she could introduce Sheree to the old man so she could start to come up too!

Now that’s what I call “keepin’ it 100!” NeNe tries to hush up Marlo but she just kept going with heartfelt words like, “are you prejudice against whites” and “everyone at Neiman Marcus knows you return all your stuff!” And all this happened because girlfriend didn’t get invited to some dinner party…

And next time:

Marlo wants everyone to Google her to check her charges, the girls do a safari; meet a local healer, and visit with some awesome local kids.

A new episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired on January 22 and we saw a lot more Marlo Thompson this week! Here’s our take on it:

All the girls are busy getting ready to head to South Africa as Kandi & Kim start sweating…Kandi the old fashioned way and Kim…the new age way. But Kim isn’t going since she just gave birth.

Meanwhile Peter wants some quality time with Cynthia before her big trip but she is too busy packing!

Phaedra explains to Apollo about Marlo’s violent past and is concerned about her coming on the trip. They joke that NeNe could get kidnapped in the bush and left in South Africa! Preach girl.

Marlo confides in NeNe that she isn’t into Kandi’s attitude and NeNe isn’t sure if she and Sheree can make up for lost time.

Kim is sad that Kroy is leaving town as the NFL lockout if finally over. But no worries Kroy can see the whole house via security cameras on his cell! So the head home for some alone time but Sweetie and her parents are still busy setting the mood…which is totally creepy!

Kandi’s daughter is sad that she can’t go on the trip with her mom and Sheree decides that she will ignore NeNe – just like at home. Marlo surprises all the girls at the airport!

And next time in South Africa: Just Like Home

The girls do a safari; meet a local healer, dance and cruise on yachts. Plus the ladies meet some local kids. Kandi calls out Marlo as NeNe can’t even wrangle her new friend to calm down.

Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta featured guns and news about an upcoming trip to South Africa! Here’s our take on it:

Kim and Kroy head to the gun range to buy the baby his own gun and of course Kim buys something pink.

Meanwhile Cynthia, Peter, Phaedra, and Apollo head out for dinner to see if the men can smooth out their issues. As Phaedra explains that it’s powder in your panty hot outside and it heats up inside as Phaedra announces a girl’s trip to South Africa.

NeNe has another “meeting” with John, as she is looking for an executive lounge that she wants to open. And she gets a new pair of Louboutins.

Kandi and Phaedra hit an African dance class to get in shape for South Africa and later Kandi shows Phaedra Marlo Hampton’s various mug shots that have blown up online.

Kim heads off to see her psychic Rose, who predicts another baby girl! So then she reads the baby’s hand who will not marry young and then Kroy’s hand who has been worried about the lockout that will be over soon.

Later at Kandi’s dinner party, her mother tries in vain get NeNe and Kim then NeNe and Sheree all to make up but it’s a no go. I wonder if Kim brought her pink gun?

NeNe asks Marlo to come to South Africa, Kim is upset that Kroy is shipping out and the gang is shocked when Marlo shows up at the airport!

Kim and Kroy are still busy moving into their new Barbie mega-mansion but Brielle is busy pissing everyone off by not helping out.

Kandi hits the road for Nashville as Jo Dee Messina offers to help jump-start Kandi’s move into country music.

Marlo Hampton and NeNe finally sit down to air out their issues. Who knew she was arrested seven times mostly for probation violation plus her six months in County for beating down some chick??

Meanwhile Cynthia finally found/finds Peter (LOL) and they head off to salsa lessons and good for her calling his ass out on his shit! So they head to talk to the pastor that married them….and good for Peter for starting to taking responsibility for his actions.

Last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta featured some tension between Peter & Cynthia! Here’s our take on it:

Phaedra isn’t impressed with hearing Sheree’s negative ass and they decide to dissolve their working relationship.

Kim buys her dream home and the costs continue to skyrocket…leaving only a week for her decorator Kendra to complete.

Kandi’s manager suggests that she get re-focused on her country music instead of helping out her friends…and is actually headed to Nashville to get some new ideas down.

Cynthia freaks out that she didn’t get the invites out on time to her new modeling agency’s opening party and Peter isn’t about to lift a finger to help. But the party turns out great…and Kim and NeNe pretend the other doesn’t exist. As Marlo Hampton’s comments get on everyone’s nerve as Kim bails out and so does Peter!

A source tells Star, “NeNe has told friends that if she doesn’t get what she wants, she will quit. She’s saying that she’s too big for RHOA, and that Bravo doesn’t pay her enough.”

The source also says NeNe is furious that RHOA co-star Kim Zolciak recently got her own spinoff series.

“She’s furious that Kim got a show and she didn’t,” the source says. “NeNe thinks RHOA is all about her and it will crumble if she leaves.”

According to the source, Bravo execs were not too happy with her diva behavior on a recent appearance at Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.

A source says, “She acted nice to host Andy Cohen while shooting but laid into him afterward and said she wants her own show.

Zolciak wore a $58k pre-owned wedding dress designed by Baracci. The gown features pearls and Swarovski crystals.

About the big day, she told the mag: “I just remember thinking, this is the day I’ve waited my whole life for. I really do feel like I’m dreaming.”

The couple welcomed their first child son Kroy Jagger Jr. in May and were engaged in October.

Kim told the mag, “This has been the happiest day of my life. It’s been perfect. It’s been a dream come true.”

The couple welcomed their first child together Kroy Jagger back in May.

They were engaged in October after meeting at a charity function back in 2010. They were filming the third season of RHOA.

Kim has two daughters from a previous marriage.

RHOA continues Sunday at 9/8c on Bravo.
