Mike Rowe sued by…Mike Rowe?

Deadliest Catch narrator and Dirty Jobs star Mike Rowe is being sued by a man also named Mike Rowe, reports TMZ.

Mike Rowe is the name of a inmate currently serving a sentence in a South Dakota prison. He’s claims he copyrighted the name Mike Rowe and is suing Mike (Discovery star).

Here’s what TMZ reports:

In the docs, Rowe (prisoner) gripes that his life behind bars is a living hell because of his name — insisting, “I can’t live here in prison without being called Dirty Jobs or … Dirtiest Man.” He adds, “I am subject to this ridicule every day that I live.”

As far as the copyright claim goes — Rowe (prisoner) claims he has a major problem with celebrity Rowe’s endorsements — saying, “Lee Jeans states Mike Rowe wears Lee Jeans or [is] for them. I do not wear nor have ever worn Lee Jeans and further, I am not for them.”

According to prison officials, Rowe was sentenced to several years of hard time after his 3rd and 4th DUI bust.

Deadliest Catch: greenhorn down?

TMZ reports there was an emergency at sea involving the F/V Wizard.

Here’s what TMZ reports:

A member of the “Deadliest Catch” fishing crew collapsed while at sea Tuesday — and according to the caller, the man showed “signs of shock and possible convulsions.”

During the transmission, the caller says the unidentified crew member is “barely coherent” — and probably suffering from severe dehydration.

The crew member in question — who we’re told was a novice crab fisherman AKA a “greenhorn” — was airlifted to a nearby hospital in Alaska for treatment.

Sources tell TMZ, he’s doing a lot better now — and a rep for Discovery adds they are “thankful to the Coast Guard and F/V Wizard crew members for their fast action and coordination.”

We hope the greenhorn gets well soon!

For two days, Bear and Jake embark on a survival experience neither will forget, to an Icelandic landscape dominated by mountains, huge glaciers and some of Europe’s most active volcanoes. Both Grylls and Gyllenhaal talked about their experiences they encountered while filming the series. ”The wild is always very revealing -– not only physically but mentally,” Grylls said. “You’ve got to smile when it’s driving horizontal hail and be able to face your fears and just get on and do it — and on both of those accounts, Jake came up strong.” ”For me, it’s all about discovery,” said Gyllenhaal.

The series will continue Mondays at 9PM ET/PT with six new episodes. Grylls will travel to New Zealand, Utah badlands, and Iceland.

Bear talks about living life to it’s fullest after having near-death experience crushing three vertebrae in a parachuting accident back in 1996:

”It gave me an awareness that we only get one shot at life and you’ve got to live it boldly.”
