Two weeks later, on a jet Quinn meets with a mystery man who has the key needed for the intersect. Sarah’s on the same jet in the luggage/cargo area. She’s armed and makes her way into the cabin. Sarah shoots up the place as Quinn turns a gun on her. But the cabin door swings open and Sarah hits her head before falling out of the plane! She lands on the beach, but is her memory back?

Elsewhere, Chuck wonders if Sarah can snap out it and remembers her life! Devin, Ellie, and Morgan urge Chuck to go and fight for his wife!

Later, General Beckman meets with Casey in person and she wants him to bring down Quinn.

At the Buy More, Chuck gets Jeff & Lester to help find Sarah’s whereabouts. They find out Sarah arrived in LA and is at the Buy More. Chuck and Sarah reunite! She tells him she needs the help of Castle to find Chuck. They find out that Quinn is in contact with a man named Renny Deutsch. She tells Chuck she only knows how to be spy, so after she finds Quinn, she’ll disappear.

In Berlin, Chuck, Sarah, and Morgan follow Renny. At a mexican restaurant Chuck and Sarah arrive. Meanwhile Casey’s running surveillance from a helicopter.

The couple then head to a Russian consulate dinner. They dance their way to get closer to Renny to find out his next location which is another restaurant, the Wienerlicious.

Sarah’s slowly remembering that she used to work at the Wienerlicious in Burbank.

Quinn shows up, captures Sarah, Chuck and Morgan. Sarah saves Chuck from Quinn and they fight the armed men together. Chuck tries to follow Quinn in the streets of Berlin. He’s got a clean shot to kill Quinn but he fires his gun in the air and shoots down Casey’s helicopter!

Back at Castle, Casey decides to put Sarah, Chuck, and Morgan into custody. Alex’s been calling Casey but he hasn’t been answering. His goal to capture Quinn and he’s ruthless to get him. Casey calls Alex a “liability” and that he “lost his edge.” But Morgan calls him out and Casey decides to free his friends. Chuck called his mom Mary/Frost to help, just when Sarah wants to leave.

Frost tells the team that if Quinn finds the last part of the key (there’s 3) he can create a new file or restore old memories. Chuck’s dad gave the last part of the key to a person in the government. Ellie wants to help so that Sarah can get her memory back but Chuck needs to get the glasses back from Quinn. It turns out Beckman has the third part to the key but she’s at the symphony and Quinn’s already there!

Chuck, Sarah, and Casey arrive at the symphony but the General is hooked up to a bomb that is sound sensitive to the music. If it stops, the bomb will explode!

Sarah and Chuck find Quinn outside the venue. Quinn tells them the bomb will explode when the music ends. But Jeff & Lester arrive to perform songs as Jeffster! When Quinn pulls out a gun, Sarah shoots him and Chuck is forced to make a decision. Chuck downloads the intersect, flashes and disarms the bomb with Sarah’s help!

Back at Castle, Beckman thanks the team and its the end of the spy game. Casey hugs Chuck goodbye and gives Sarah a handshake. Sarah tells Chuck that she needs time to be alone to figure herself out.

At the Buy More, Jeff & Lester tell Big Mike about their life saving gig, but Mike doesn’t believe it. A record executive tells Jeff & Lester he wants to sign the, to a record deal in Germany. After some tears, Jeffster leave the Buy More for good.

Elsewhere, Alex & Morgan tell Casey that they’re moving in together. Casey gives them the keys to his apartment as he wants to be closer to Gertrude.

Frost spends some time with baby Clara as Devin & Ellie accept their job offer to Chicago and pack up their apartment.

Chuck finds Sarah at the beach, and tells her he’ll always be around to help her. Sarah wants him to tell her a story. So Chuck tells her their love story as we see flashbacks over the past five seasons! Chuck tells her about Morgan’s idea–that id they kiss, Sarah will remember everything, and they kiss! That’s a wrap folks!

Chuck episode 11 “Chuck vs. the Bullet Train” recap

This episode begins in Tokyo, Japan with Chuck and Nicholas Quinn boarding a bullet train to a secret location.Quinn tells Chuck that Sarah’s dead, but is she? Nope! Her and Casey are hiding in two caskets on the bullet train.

Back at Castle, Morgan’s working with Ellie to determine if there’s any side effects/complications left from having the intersect including memory loss.

Sarah finds Chuck’s cabin and rescues him from danger. Elsewhere, Casey’s having problems opening the cargo door and gets confronted by Quinn.

But Sarah flashes and with Casey’s help locks Quinn in a casket. Sarah lets it slip that she “flashed” and tells Chuck she’s the intersect, surprise! Later, Sarah and Chuck trade stories about having the intersect and it’s benefits–like parkour!

At the Buy More, Big Mike isn’t too happy about Morgan’s idea to have public flu shots with two reps. But Jeff & Morgan are still wanting to figure out the deal with non-existent memories. The flu shots rep kidnap Alex by gunpoint as directed by Quinn.

On the bullet train, Sarah and Chuck are busy planning out their futures beyond Carmichael Industries. Until they get news that Alex’s been kidnapped. When Sarah and Chuck meet Casey, it turns out he’s being used as a pawn by Quinn who is feeding instructions to Casey via an earpiece. Chuck sends a text to Morgan to make sure Alex is safe, but she isn’t. Alex is tied up in an RV that doesn’t want to start with her kidnappers. Jeff & Lester are close by.

Back on the bullet train, Sarah and Chuck are brought to Quinn. She flashes, fights Quinn and throws him off the train. But Casey needed Quinn to stay alive to save Alex! Shortly after Sarah experiences the intersect malfunctioning in her head! Later, Sarah tells Chuck that she can’t control the flashing.

Ellie tells Chuck that Sarah needs an MRI to surpress the intersect. But until then, Sarah needs to be blindfolded to control her flashes. Ellie tells Chuck she’ll email him the surpression techniques from General Beckman to help with Sarah. But Sarah’s already forgetting key info like who Alex is.

Elsewhere, Casey directs Morgan and Ellie on how to rescue Alex. Before Morgan gets to save Alex, one of the kidnappers takes him too! Jeff & Lester are Casey’s only hope! Casey tells them that he along with Sarah and Chuck are spies. Meanwhile, Quinn’s still alive and makes his way back on the train.

Jeff & Lester are equipped with some heavy artiliery complete with flamethrower! They save Alex and Morgan. In return Jeff & Lester want the truth. Morgan takes them on a tour of Castle. Alex calls Casey and tells him she’s safe.

Back on the bullet train, there’s a network problem trying to download the intersect surpression. When Chuck tries to solve the problem, he’s met by Quinn! They fight and Quinn says until the intersect is his…he’ll never stop!

Sarah meets Quinn in the cargo area and he shoots her with a tranq dart as Casey & Chuck helplessly watch from another train car. Quinn then separates the cargo area car from Chuck & Casey’s car! Nooooo!

Later on, Sarah’s off the train and in a random warehouse. Quinn wants the intersect from Sarah with a surpression device. He wants her to work for him. He starts triggering flashes so that she forgets her memories.

Back at Castle, the team gets the news that Sarah set off her emergency beacon. Morgan, Chuck and Casey rush to the scene…but Sarah’s already gone! She wakes up in a hotel room to a knock on the door. It’s Quinn, and she doesn’t recognize him. He lies and says he’s her handler. Her new order is to kill Chuck, the man she doesn’t remember!

Chuck episode 10 “Chuck vs. Bo” recap

Casey and Morgan decide to stage a scene for Jeff & Lester, a la The Hangover complete with short term memory loss so they’ll never remember they discovered Castle.

Sarah tells Chuck she wants to quit the spy game. She wants to take on internet counterterrorism. Morgan’s into the idea…Casey not so much! Morgan learns if they go ahead then there’s no more Buy More.

Morgan discovers a video he took when he had the intersect. New mission: the team needs to find the intersect glasses before anyone else does!

Ellie tries to hypnotize Morgan to get his memory back. Morgan keeps remembering key words like “gold” and “peak.”

Jeff & Lester wake up in the middle of nowhere. But Lester still remembers they found something in the basement of the Buy More. They decide to follow Chuck and the team for some answers.

At the Buy More, Morgan meets Alex’s ex-fling. Yep, she hooked up with some dude when her and Morgan broke up.

Back at Castle, the team retrace Morgan’s steps when he hid the intersect glasses, all the way to a bar in Vail, Colorado. The frosted tips return. They run into Bo Derek who plants a big smooch on Morgan! Bo tells the team that Morgan boasted that he saved the world at his last visit. After she takes him to his room, the story unravels as Morgan was a man about town.

Casey finds Jeff & Lester lurking around the bar in Vail and uses his short term memory trick again.

Chuck tells Morgan to Bo is probably in on hiding the glasses. She turns a gun on Chuck but Sarah saves him.

Morgan and Chuck take Bo into custody at Castle. Flashback…Morgan made it pretty clear at the party that he had the intersect and Bo slept with him, then drugged him and called her boss named Nicholas Quinn. He showed up and tried to become the next intersect but Morgan shot at him.

Morgan confesses to Alex that he sleptwith Bo Derek but she doesn’t believe him at first. They decide they are even and plan to move forward.

Flashback to Vail…when Morgan escaped to a Buy More in Vail and put the glasses in a safe at that location.

Chuck, Sarah, Morgan, and Casey visit the Vail Buy More and pose as security personnel. Jeff & Lester follow close behind. Morgan finds the glasses as Jeff & Lester call the team out as being spies. Nicholas Quinn shows up claiming the intersect was originally intended for him. Gun fire ensues as Jeff & Lester try to make it out of the store alive. Afterwards, Chuck decides they should leave the intersect glasses alone. Jeff & Lester beg Casey to have their memory swiped.

Jeff & Lester are back in their Hangover scenario and Big Mike drops with some Subway. They decide to head to Vegas.

At home, Chuck gets a call from Sarah at Castle. She wants to destroy the intersect glasses. But Nicholas hits Chuck over the head! He calls Sarah and wants the glasses to be delivered at the docks or Chuck’s dead!

When Casey and Sarah arrive at the docks, they get ambushed. It’s a trap! Sarah & Casey are running low on options and she decides to put the intersect glasses on to get them out of there, go Sarah!

Chuck episode 9 “Chuck vs. the Kept Man” recap

The episode begins with Chuck being tied up (literally) on a mission by a man who wants to cut out his tongue. But Casey and Sarah saves him.

Back at the apartment, Verbanski pays Casey a surprise visit with a big ‘ol smooch!

The next day, Chuck is up early reviewing the mission statement for Carmichael Industries. Chuck wants to make it a point that Carmichael Industries…cares about the feelings of their clients.

Verbanski gifts Casey a cashmere sweater from Harrod’s. She’s taking him on a “vacation” to South Beach.

At the Buy More, Jeff reviews the security footage and thinks it’s weird that Casey is in the store after hours.

At Castle, Casey’s wearing his new sweater. Chuck tells Casey and Sarah that Carmichael Industries has a website and they’ve got their first client…Verbanski. The mission involves Rocky Falcone, one of the biggest arms dealers in Miami. He wants a face-to-face meet. She wants Carmichael Industries to be security details and pays the whole fee!

In South Beach, Casey’s reluctant to wear a banana hammock and Sarah’s more emotional than usual. Later on Sarah walks in on Casey & Verbanski getting it on.

At the Buy More, Jeff & Lester tell Morgan that there’s a mystery agent. Morgan tells them it’s Devin.

Later on at dinner Verbanski and the team meet with Rocky the arms dealer who tells Verbanski. Rocky and Verbanski agree on a price and will meet late that night.

At the bar, Chuck tells Casey to use his heart when dealing with Verbanski.

Elsewhere, Morgan tells Devin that needs to pose as a spy to throw off Jeff & Lester! Devin transforms himself into a suave spy.

At the meeting, Verbanski wants the weapons in exchange for $3 million. But before he tries to attack them, Verbanski’s team swoops in and saves the day! Casey is angry thinking that Verbanski just used him and storms off. In the heat of the moment, Casey decides to spill the beans to Chuck about Sarah’s alleged pregnancy.

Later on, Chuck and Sarah decipher her pregnancy test…and it’s a negative.

At Castle, Verbanski tells Sarah & Chuck via TV conference that they need to finish their mission in South Beach. Falcone gave him his supplier…a man named St. Germain.

At the Buy More, Casey tells Morgan that he’s “not a kept man, he’s a spy!”

Devin, Jeff & Lester decide to do their own spy mission, where somehow Lester dresses as a woman.

In the Everglades, Verbanski instructs her team to take St. Germain alive.

The next morning, St. Germain posing as Verbanski calls Casey. But Casey thinks it’s a trick. But that’s not the case! St. Germain tells Casey he wants $10 million or a captured Verbanski is a dead woman.

Casey gets captured in the Everglades. While Sarah and Chuck try to fight armed men. Sarah gets blinded by a flash grenade and urges Chuck to continue without her.

Casey joins a captured Verbanski and professes his love to her, go Casey!! Chuck bursts in rescues Verbanski. While leaving they along with Casey are confronted by St. Germain. But it’s Sarah to the rescue who runs over St. Germain in a hummer.

Back at home, Sarah confesses to Chuck that she wishes she was pregnant. He also feels the same.

At Castle, Verbanski gifts Casey with a deluxe personalized/monogramed bulletproof vest. She says her next mission is a two-month stint in Dresden. But Casey’s reluctant to join.

At his apartment, Casey tells Alex about Verbanski and calls her his “girlfriend.”

At the Buy More, Jeff & Lester tell Big Mike that Devin is building a nuclear bomb. They follow Devin into a trap door leading to…a secret passage way where they find Devin working out. So ya, he’s not working on a nuclear bomb and Big Mike urges Devin to continue…while Sarah, Chuck, and Morgan watch from a monitor at Castle.

But, Jeff & Lester discover the walls are still wet. Jeff takes a weight, throws it again the fake wall and discovers Castle! But Morgan shoots them both with tranqs…and they discover they’ve got a problem to deal with!

At the Clarksville Penitentiary, the Omen allows prisoners to escape, including Daniel Shaw (guest star Brandon Routh).

Ellie’s panicking about being behind with prep on Christmas Eve. Devin tries to calm her down. Ellie recruits Sarah in Project Santa to help with decorations. Sarah’s kidnapped and tied up by Shaw, who’s busy activating the Omen. Chuck tries to call Sarah but Shaw answers. He orders Chuck to put Castle on lock down or Sarah will be harmed. Shaw wants Chuck to break into Decker’s office to retrieve.

Back at the Buy More, Morgan gets Jeff & Lester to help crack the Omen virus. The Santa suit is also missing from the Buy More–but Chuck has it and with the help of General Beckman, will break into Decker’s office at CIA HQ.

Meanwhile, Shaw tells Sarah that she’s the superior spy and he misses her. He also creates a voice modulator with Sarah’s voice.

At the CIA HQ Christmas Party, Stan Lee guest stars and he’s actually a spy…or as Beckman calls it “a celebrity spy.” Chuck lays on the charm in his Santa suit to a female agent (guest star Mo Collins) to gain access to Decker’s office and manages to nab her security clearance card. Chuck and Beckman break into Decker’s office and find exactly what they are looking for. Before they get busted by security, Beckman and Chuck kiss in order to flee without being caught.

Back at Castle, Sarah’s escaped from Shaw. But when he finds her they battle it out but Casey gets shot. Shaw re-ties Sarah and calls Chuck using as her voice. Chuck figures out that Shaw is using Sarah somehow…

Devin and Ellie want the best Christmas for baby Clara but it starts off rocky as her mom’s flight is delayed. Sarah is supposed to help with Ellie with the decorations…but she’s a no-show. Later on, Chuck tells Ellie that Shaw kidnapped Sarah. Ellie’s worried as Shaw killed their dad, and he’s capable of anything.

Back at the Buy More, Jeff & Lester discover the Omen is harming government computers. But Chuck figures out that Shaw is trying to use the CIA database with the virus to create the Intersect 3.0.

At Castle, Shaw wants revenge against Sarah for his killing his wife. Shaw wants to kill Chuck as Sarah watches from a monitor.

At the Buy More, Chuck and Shaw (who uses the Intersect 3.0) fight each other. It turns out Chuck downloaded the virus instead of the Intersect into Shaw’s glasses! Go Chuck! Shaw turns a gun on Shaw but Ellie hits him over the head, just in time! Ellie tells Chuck she wasn’t going to let Shaw take him away from her.

Casey decides to leave a message for Alex via a recorder on an electronic bear. Morgan finds an unconscious Sarah as Casey helps Morgan.

Later on, the team reunites to watch the news as the Omen virus has been thrwarted! Sarah invites Beckman to celebrate Christmas with the Bartowskis/Woodcombs!

Chuck episode 5 “Chuck Versus the Hack Off” recap

The episode begins with Chuck and Sarah wanting Casey to break out of prison but he’s not feeling it.

Meanwhile, Lester’s also in jail. The good news is Jeff wants to drop all charges if Lester promises not to poison anyone. But no-go! Casey warns Chuck and Sarah about Decker, as “he’s capable of anything.”

When Chuck and Sarah leave prison, they are shot with tranqs and transported to Decker who has a job for them…if they’re interested. There’s a pc virus called “The Omen” that needs to be found and given to Decker. In return, Casey will be freed!

In prison, Casey and Verbanski (guest star Carrie-Anne Moss) reunite for a conjugal visit! Afterwards, Casey wants her to join forces with Chuck and Sarah but she’s reluctant.

At Carmichael Industries, Morgan tells Sarah that Chuck is an avid hacker and tracks down the location and the man named Colin Davis behind “The Omen.” Verbanski joins the team as a sniper.

At the last known location of the hacker, Chuck and Sarah encounter/join a nudist cult and meet the cult’s leader (guest star Beau Garrett). Chuck and Sarah find Davis and notice he’s wearing the chip with the virus on his necklace. The cult’s leader figures out that Chuck and Sarah are intruders. While trying to escape in the forest, Sarah fights the leader and Davis swallows the chip and gets shot with a tranq. Chuck, Sarah, and Verbanski move an unconscious Davis out of the forest.

In prison, Casey gets assaulted but Lester saves him! Lester’s been busy setting up cable and internet for the cell mates, so he’s pretty much the top dog in the clink. Later on, Jeff & Morgan tell Lester via video chat that they’ve hired his replacement at the Buy More and it’s Community guest star Danny Pudi. Lester is crushed at the news but it turns out it was just a ploy from Morgan & Jeff!

Later on, Chuck heads to a warehouse posed as a hacker with the virus. He joins a group of hackers known as “The Collectors,” the best hackers around. Back in the day Chuck was known as “The Piranha” for his hacking skills.

Sarah and Verbanski break into the hacking facility and defeat armed guards. Verbanski confesses that she’s in love with Casey!

At the Buy More, Jeff tells Morgan that Lester will be out of prison as all charges are dropped.

Chuck tells Sarah that Carmichael Industries can change into a technology company since he’s a great hacker. Decker tells them the FBI will be after them over the virus. Verbanski decided to plant a back-up plan on Decker and she blew him up!

In prison, Verbanski tells Casey that she needs to disappear for a while over the Decker incident. They smooch and Casey is broken out of prison with Morgan’s help.

The episode ends with Sarah telling Chuck that she’s afraid of the backlash over Decker’s death. But Chuck assures her there’s nothing to worry about.

Chuck episode 4 “Chuck Versus the Business Trip” recap

This week’s episode begins with Morgan walking to his car, but it’s got a bomb under it and Chuck saves him just in time before the car explodes.

General Beckman and removes the intersect out of Morgan’s head! Even though the intersect is gone, there’s still a CIA hit out on Morgan and he needs to stay out of the public.

Devin and baby Clara are busy doing yoga in the courtyard. Ellie tells Chuck and Sarah she’s happy to be back at work but she still misses Clara.

Chuck and Sarah discuss how they aren’t allowed to live “normal lives.” Sarah basically says they need to find a happy medium and balance life as spies.

Back at Castle, Beckman tells the team that Morgan’s not in the clear yet. Decker interrupts the feed and says Morgan’s hit is still on with a contractor named “The Viper” to complete the job.

At the Buy More, Jeff’s still a normal dude and Lester’s still scheming–this time it’s to win the title of “Buy More Salesperson of the Year,” the convention will take place in Riverside. Game on! Chuck announces the Salesperson of the Year is…Morgan. It’ll be a good opportunity to find the Viper.

At the convention, Chuck tells everyone that he’s Morgan. A corporate exec named Crazy Bob (guest star David Koechner) makes a speech. Chuck is nabbed by someone in the pool! Sarah talks with a woman named Jane and springs to Chuck’s rescue in the pool, then it turns into a pool party.

Back at the Castle, Morgan’s passing the time watching the various Star Wars films. Morgan tells Casey that he misses Alex, but Casey doesn’t care.

Chuck and Sarah are bonding with their “normal lives” cover at the Buy More convention. Chuck and Crazy Bob return back to their different rooms, but Casey tells Chuck that Bob is a liar. When Sarah follows Bob into his room, it’s a dead-end as Chuck gets attacked in his room next door by the bartender! Is he the Viper?

Back at Castle, the bartender is in the team’s custody. Casey questions him as Morgan texts Alex from Casey’s phone for them to meet at the Buy More. Sarah wants to have drinks with her new friend Jane and Chuck is all for it.

At the Buy More, Jeff gets tested by Devin again and he’s doing better! Jeff tells Devin that Ellie wants to be at home with Clara and not working.

Morgan meets up with Alex. He tells her that he had a “super computer” in his brain. But she’s not buying it.

At Castle, Chuck questions the bartender and figures out it was too easy to get the Viper. Before Sarah leaves Chuck tells her that Jane is the Viper since there’s a bomb under Sarah’s gas pedal! Chuck sends Morgan a text saying the bartender is not the Viper.

At the Buy More, Lester tries to fill the lunchroom (where Jeff & Big Mike are eating) with exhaust fumes. When Big Mike passes out from the gas, Jeff yells to pull the fire alarm and the entire Buy More gets evacuated. But Morgan and Alex are still inside as the Viper is searching for them. Morgan calls Casey and tells him about the Viper. Morgan leads Alex to safety.

In the parking lot, Chuck tries to disarm the bomb as Sarah calls Jane in a “panic.” When Jane zeros in on Morgan, Sarah is right behind her and catches her.

At the Castle, the Viper is caught and in CIA’s custody. Decker tells the team that Morgan’s hit is off.

At the Buy More, Jeff gets Lester arrested for attempted homicide.

Alex and Morgan decide to be friends, even though he’s still in love with her. Sarah tells Alex that Casey will be late.

Meanwhile, Jane tells Decker that she needs to protect her cover and “neutralize” everyone who knows who she is. Casey gets caught by Jane’s men and he shoots her.

Devin, Ellie, Alex, Morgan, Chuck and Sarah unwind as Casey arrives late. They all hang out like normal people. Devin tells everyone that he’s going back to work. Casey and Morgan are on better terms as Morgan says he’ll leave Alex alone. Casey invites Morgan to move back in and presents him with the entire set of Indiana Jones DVDs. Before they begin dinner, Decker shows up and arrests Casey for murder! Uh oh!!

New episodes of Chuck will return on December 9 (this episode will be directed by Chuck star himself Zachary Levi) at 8/7c on NBC.

Chuck episode 3 “Chuck vs. the Frosted Tips” recap

This week’s episode begins with Casey on a mission to run into Gertrude Verbanski (guest star Carrie-Anne Moss). Casey’s still a bit rusty as he attempts to ask her out and chickens out!

Chuck and Morgan meet with General Beckman who wants Chuck & the team to track down and capture Mats Zorn, he’s a whistleblower/wikileaks type. She wants the team to nab Zorn as there’s a huge bounty on him. She gives him a zip drive with more info about Zorn. Morgan decides to call the General “Becky” and “baby girl.” Wow, Morgan’s lucky he’s the intersect, or he’d be in trouble!

Casey discovers Morgan is Verbanski’s new hire!

The next day, Chuck’s upset as Morgan was his BFF and now is a traitor with the team’s rival company.

Ellie’s back to work and Devin is left to take care of their baby on his own.

At the Buy More, a sweet “Monotracer” vehicle stops carrying a frosted-tipped Morgan. He’s got a new look and lift shoes! Morgan gives Chuck his three-week notice. Casey warns Morgan if he leaves, he ain’t coming back, and he can say goodbye to Alex. Morgan dumps Alex via text message.

Chuck and Sarah discover the zip drive with the intel about Zorn has gone missing and Morgan took it!

Devin and baby, head to the Buy More, and he rescues Jeff from a car with exhaust fumes. Jeff claims he sleeps in his van with the engine running and Devin tells him to visit him at the hospital at some point for some testing.

Chuck, Sarah, and Casey break into Verbanski headquarters to locate the flash drive. Casey gets distracted by the gun that Gertrude’s been keeping in her office, and finds the zip drive. Gertrude finds him and they fight each other! He handcuffs her and takes his gun back.

Elsewhere, Morgan uses his intersect powers to teach combat training. One of the attendees is Chuck who tries to get Morgan back on his side. Morgan tells Chuck that he’s just jealous, and they are not friends! Morgan gets hit by a tranq dart, as Casey, Chuck and Sarah flee with the zip drive.

Devin gives Jeff his doctor’s orders of…to stop sleeping in his van.

Sarah tells General Beckman that Morgan’s the intersect. Beckman tells Sarah that she never sent an intersect over to them. Morgan’s been losing his memory and its because of the jacked-up intersect.

Chuck, Sarah, Casey, Morgan, and Gertrude all dress as flight crew members unknowingly and all spy teams have the same exact plans. Chuck tries to warn Morgan that the intersect in his head is faulty. But Morgan isn’t buying it.

Zorn tries to escape in his helicopter but Morgan shoots at it and springs a gas leak. Chuck tries to refresh Morgan’s memory. Zorn then turns himself in, but the gas ignites a fire. Morgan and Gertrude are trapped in the fire until Chuck and Casey save them. Gertrude and Casey finally kiss and Morgan returns to normal.

Later on, Casey’s taking Gertrude on a date to the gun range. Chuck receives a $2M check for finding Zorn!

At the Buy More, Jeff cleans himself up and has turned into a brand new man.

Chuck episode 1 recap: “Chuck Versus the Zoom”

Previously on Chuck:

Chuck was told he was just a pawn and he lost the intersect. The Buy More is now the CIA property and Morgan is not the intersect! Sarah and Chuck receive a large sum of money on behalf of Volkoff Industries.

“Chuck Versus the Zoom”

Chuck and Sarah are married and on a mission to steal an expensive vase from a man named Jean Claude (guest star Mark Hamill). It’s also Morgan’s first mission and he saves the day after he flashes…but then he accidentally breaks the vase!

Back at Carmichael Industries, Morgan works hard to fully restore the vase worth $6 million. Sarah’s worried they are spending too much on missions, but Chuck assures her that everything will be okay.

They get a new mission from a client to target Roger Bale (guest star Craig Kilborn) who steals & shares information from others. While doing undercover work on Roger, Morgan “zooms” (his version of “flashing”) on Roger’s suitcase.

Ellie tells Chuck that he’ll never be the intersect (he misses it!). Chuck is unsure if his new company will work without him being the intersect.

Chuck wants to play Roger in a game of squash but Casey wants Morgan to zoom on Roger instead. Chuck ends up being a masseuse instead. On the mission, Casey meets an old friend, Stark. Meanwhile, Morgan beats Roger during the game of squash! Sarah and Morgan get an invite for the party they need to attend. So basically, Morgan saved the day!

Back at the Buy More, Jeff returns in a wheelchair. Lester tells Morgan and Chuck that Jeff was trampled during a stampede for the Justin Bieber talking doll. But Morgan and Chuck aren’t buying it and it turns Jeff is faking it. Lesson learned: Morgan and Chuck need to spend more time at the Buy More.

Sarah thinks Chuck is keeping secrets from her which is true! Sarah finds out that Chuck was trying to surprise her with a dream home.

At the party, Morgan and Sarah are busy inside the party while Chuck is running surveillance outside in a van. Morgan flashes and danced with Sarah as a distracting for Casey to hack into the mansion’s mainframe. But Chuck gets caught by CIA agent Clyde Decker (guest star Richard Burgi). Morgan, Sarah, and Casey also get caught by Roger who discovers the computer hacking.

Chuck arrives at the party disguised as an IT guy helping Roger and his “fix” the computers. After Chuck reveals his real identity, Sarah, Morgan and Casey are freed leaving him inside the mansion with Roger. However, Chuck escapes after Sarah, Morgan, and Casey follow his directives left on a video message in the van.

Back at Carmichael Industries, the team gets the news that Roger’s been arrested! But Decker froze all the team’s money besides the Buy More and the castle. Chuck takes the news badly and takes off. At their potential dream home, Sarah finds Chuck and tells him they’ll bounce back. Chuck will take the Buy More’s income to fund their new missions, assuming the store will turn a profit.

The episode ends with Decker at the CIA who urges his own team to take down Chuck!

Tune in next Friday at 8/7c for a brand new episode of Chuck with special guest stars Rebecca Romijn and Carrie Anne Moss!

Chuck episode 16: “Chuck Versus the Masquerade” recap

An assassin kills two people who work with Volkoff in Russia, Italy. He asks the victims for a key, that none of them own.

Back in California, Chuck & Morgan prepare for Valentine’s Day. Devin and Ellie are ready to get it on but are interrupted by baby Clara. Chuck and Sarah celebrate Valentine’s in his room while Alex and Morgan get the living room. Chuck & Sarah head to the kitchen for some chocolate-dipped strawberries. But Casey interrupts Morgan, Chuck, Sarah, and Alex’s Valentine’s festivities with news of a new mission.

At the CIA Buy More facility the team are informed by General Beckman about three of Volkoff’s lieutenants that were killed by Boris Kaminsky. He wants to claim power of Volkoff Industries but a woman named Vivian is Volfkoff’s successor (and daughter) and General Beckman orders the team to get to her before Boris does. They head to Somerset, England for a masquerade ball.

At the ball Chuck tells Sarah he’s creeped out by the masks!

Chuck

Sarah runs into Boris. Chuck and Sarah nab Vivian in time but get caught by Boris and his armed men. The teams escape with Vivian.

Chuck

At the Buy More, Devin and Ellie are looking rough. They haven’t had any sleep as baby Clara’s been keeping them up all night. Big Mike helps them find some baby products for Clara including a stuffed animal that plays Jeffster songs. It’s the only thing that quiets Clara.

At the CIA Buy More facility, Casey tells Chuck & Sarah that Morgan feels like a third wheel since they’ve been engaged. Sarah decides to hang out with Morgan but they don’t really have much in common. Morgan figures out that Casey was right and he is the third wheel. He wants to move out.

Chuck talks with Volkoff’s daughter Vivian about what her dad actually did for a living, killing people. She tells Chuck to use her as bait to bring down Boris.

Casey meets with NSA Director Agent Jane Bentley (guest star Robin Givens) she wants to recruit him as she’s putting together a new team and wants him onboard.

Devin and Ellie figure out that Clara is able to sleep properly with the Jeffster songs but it’s driving the nuts as it keeps replaying over and over again.

Chuck goes home to find Morgan packing up his stuff. Morgan tells him that they need to grow up and Chuck & Sarah need their own place as they’ll be married soon. Morgan says he’ll move in with his mom. Sarah apologizes to Chuck about Morgan.

Sarah goes undercover as Vivian at the stables, short brown wig and all in an attempt to capture Boris. Sarah horseback rides to the forest with Casey close by. Sarah gets thrown off the horse. The horse makes it back to the stables without Sarah. One of Boris’s men gets to Sarah but gets killed by Casey. Vivian and Chuck ride the horse to the forest and are followed. Chuck flashes and gets himself of the horse and attacks the men who were following close behind. Casey defeats Boris’s men in the forest. Vivian makes it back to the stables and runs into Boris who wants the key but she shoots him.

Afterwards, Vivian keeps the info she knows about the “key” (a necklace she wears from her dad) to herself.

Later on, Devin and Ellie put Clara in her nursery and they finally get some sleep.

Casey talks with Agent Bentley about moving on from the CIA. She offers him a mission.

Vivian visits her father’s office and finds a bronze horse statue. She inserts a part of her necklace into the statue and it reveals…

Chuck episode 15 recap: “Chuck Versus the C.A.T. Squad”

Back in 2003 the C.A.T. Squad was the best all-girl spy team around featuring cold-hearted Carina, Zondra the bitch, Amy the party-girl and Sarah. Together they were the Clandestine Attack Team.

In present time, Chuck’s trying to find Sarah’s old friends for their engagement party. He recruits Morgan to contact Carina who was a part of C.A.T., his former flame and Chuck sends her an email. Carina calls the other squad members to inform them about Sarah’s engagement.

Sarah’s not too happy about Chuck bringing the C.A.T. Squad back together. When they drop by they pick up Sarah for a girls night out.

The next day Sarah has a bad hang-over. She went to Vegas and Miami with the C.A.T. Squad and partied all night. They all crashed at Chuck’s. Carina ended up in bed with Morgan who by the way is still dating Alex, who stops by and meets Carina.

During breakfast it turns out there’s some trust issues between Sarah and Zondra. Afterwards just when Carina steps into her car it blows up and Chuck flashes on a piece of the bomb and identifies Augusto Gaez (guest star Lou Diamond Phillips). Augusto is the enemy against C.A.T. They tried to capture him but were never able to. General Beckman orders the C.A.T. to capture him in Rio. Sarah thinks Zondra is working for Gaez.

In Rio the C.A.T. Squad are at a club looking for Gaez while Chuck and Casey run surveillance outside. The C.A.T. Squad walk right into a setup as Gaez was informed the ladies were looking for him.

Chuck

Gaez holds them hostage. He wants the squad to work for him. But Sarah frees herself. Just when Gaez was about to tells Sarah who the mole is, Chuck decides to crash the party. Sarah yells at him for trying to help.

Chuck

Meanwhile Morgan needs to help Carina while she’s injured. He cancels plans with Alex once, again. When Morgan meets Alex she finds lipstick on his collar, oh no!

Back at the CIA facility Sarah and Zondra decide to fight it out. Amy’s the one who’s been working with Gaez. Apparently she’s not as dumb as she seems! The duo lock down the facility with the remaining squad members and Morgan left inside. Gaez and Amy head to the Buy More and find Chuck. Sarah walks Chuck through defeating Gaez. The squad girls make their way out in time to keep Amy from escaping. Afterwards Sarah and Zondra apologize to each other.

At Chuck and Sarah’s engagement party, Alex breaks up with Morgan. But he tells her that nothing happened between him and Carina. He finally tells her he loves her. Sarah asks Ellie to be her maid of honor at the wedding.

Chuck episode 14 recap: “Chuck Versus the Seduction Impossible”

In Marrakesh, Morocco agent Roan Montgomery (guest star John Larroquette) shows a lady friend a counterfeit $100 bill. He tells her that he’s trying to find out who’s making the bills, but gets kidnapped instead.

Baby Clara is somewhat a spectacle with everyone as Devin digitally documents every moment! The attention then shifts to Chuck and Sarah’s wedding plans.

Morgan tells Casey that Alex wants him to meet her mom Kathleen who thinks Casey’s dead.

General Beckman (who is a hot mess) informs the team about a mission off the books, to rescue agent Roan Montgomery. He was investigating the dangerous Fatima and her female army. It turns out Beckman and Montgomery are somewhat of an item, which explains her hot mess-ness. While packing Sarah brings up the fact her and Chuck can elope and skip the wedding stress.

At the Buy More Chuck tells Morgan he’s not into an elopement. He wants his family involved in his wedding.

Montgomery isn’t letting Fatima and her gang get to him. Sarah, Chuck, and Casey arrive to save the day. Montgomery still has a tracking device on him so the CIA can still follow him. Along the way Chuck flashes on a dangerous guy but their mission to rescue Montgomery and that’s it. They find Montgomery who’s awaiting Fatima and he’s not in any danger. He tells them he’s on a mission and needs info from Fatima. Chuck and Sarah get caught and tied up alongside Roland. Chuck tells Sarah he doesn’t want to elope.

Chuck

Casey doesn’t get caught and sort of seduces a lady-guard. He frees Chuck, Sarah & Montgomery. Casey stays behind.

Chuck

Alex drops by the Buy More to tell Morgan of plans meeting her mom. Alex is not happy to hear that Morgan wants Casey and Kathleen to reunite. While Casey’s still on his Moroccan mission Morgan tells him Alex doesn’t want him to reunite with Kathleen.

Beckman meets with Montgomery, she’s not impressed about his rogue mission to Morocco. Beckman’s new mission for Montgomery: working at the Buy More. Montgomery talks with Chuck about his first meeting Beckman back in 1989 Berlin. They made a pact with her that in 20 years they would be a normal couple.

Chuck, after getting advice on how to be a cool spy from Montgomery gets all fancy-pants and surprises Sarah, who has a surprise of her own. She’s dressed as a bellydancer. She tries to seduce him to get him to elope. But they both fail to seduce one another.

Casey tells Beckman, Chuck, and Sarah about her meeting his financial backers who gets killed by her army. Casey’s trapped in the debris and may need to chop his arm off. Beckman sends Chuck and Sarah back to Morocco. She wants Montgomery to seduce Fatima to get the location of the mint. Chuck and Sarah hits a snag freeing Casey and they are caught by Fatima’s army.

Fatima tells Montgomery about her childhood and slips the mint’s location that Beckman overhears. She launches a missile that destroys Fatima’s palace and frees the CIA agents. After a successful mission Beckman lets her hair down (literally) and joins Montgomery at the bar.

Chuck

On a lighter note, Mary is bonding with little Clara. Ellie asks Mary if she really wants to be a full-time grandma. Ellie admits she made Chuck quit the CIA but she tells Mary if she needs to be the great spy that she is then it’s okay.

Casey goes to meet up with Kathleen but sees she’s got a new man.

Sarah tells Chuck that eloping was her way of not dealing with her family. She tells Chuck that her family is complicated, but Chuck’s willing to help her.
