Chuck episode 12: “Chuck vs. Sarah” recap

Chuck, Casey and Morgan are ready to bring Sarah home. As they leave Chuck’s apartment Sarah shows up and tells them about her escape & that Nicholas Quinn’s dead!

Flashback: Quinn and Sarah fight in her hotel room! She throws him out the window but before he gets killed, he shows Sarah a video that she made back in the day before her mission with Chuck. Quinn tells Sarah that her partner Bryce & her handler are dead and that Chuck & his team are responsible! Quinn wants her to retrieve the intersect glasses. So she’s now on a mission to kill Chuck with Quinn directing her every move via an earpiece.

At home, Sarah’s acting weird and Chuck notices! So he decides to spend some along time with her. Quinn urges her to be vulnerable & do what Chuck says. But they tells Chuck they should just sleep it off.

Casey’s busy scrubbing the floors as Morgan sees the end of the spy game in sight!

Elsewhere, Devin & Ellie both get job offers to move to Chicago. Ellie is doubting a move since she’ll always lived close to Chuck.

Later, Sarah goes snooping around and finds the glasses. Quinn orders her to take out Chuck. But Chuck gets up and talks with Ellie about Sarah’s weirdness and to destroy the intersect. He knows where the new version is, Ellie wants him to destroy it.

Back at Castle, Chuck briefs Sarah, Morgan and Casey on the plans to destroy the intersect.

Meanwhile at D.A.R.P.A. (where the new intersect download is) the team breaks in. Sarah uploads the info needed on the intersect glasses then turns the gun on Chuck, Casey, and Morgan.

Chuck tries to change her mind but she punches him and takes off with the intersect, leaving a bomb to explode when she leaves. Outside the building, Sarah has second thoughts but Quinn detonates the bomb!

Back at D.A.R.P.A. Chuck and the team survive and he tells him he switched the glasses!

When Sarah arrives to meet Quinn she punches him and gives him the fake glasses. Quinn tells her that Chuck is a liar and surprised that he’s still alive.

Back at Castle, Casey’s getting the idea that Sarah’s not the same & is dangerous! Now the team is worried about what Sarah’s capable of including harming Devin & Ellie.

Meanwhile, Sarah’s at lunch with Ellie. When Chuck calls she tells him she doesn’t trust him and he’s got 15 minutes to show up with the glasses or Ellie’s dead.

Chuck shows up without the glasses and doesn’t want Ellie to be harmed. All three head to the Regal Plaza where Casey & Morgan are on watch and ready to attack. Ellie decides to slam into another car to try & save Sarah! Ellie and Sarah are fine and Chuck takes Sarah away in his Nerd Herd car. Ellie calls Casey and tells him the news.

Later, Chuck takes Sarah to their dream house. Chuck tells Sarah about their first kiss, their first “I Love You” and when he proposed.

He gives Sarah a choice to take a chance with him or take the intersect glasses and never see him again. But she takes the glasses and beats up Chuck! She doesn’t understand why he’s not fighting back and he says it’s because she’s his WIFE.

Sarah remembers etching their names in the wall, and then Quinn walks in! Quinn confesses he’s not the CIA and shoots Sarah but Chuck gets shot instead and Chuck tells her to run!

Chuck returns to Ellie & Devin’s apartment, he’ll be find as the bullet only grazed him.

Sarah heads back to her apartment to pack and gets a visit from Casey. He drops off a envelope for her and leaves. The envelope is a disc of Sarah’s video diaries that she recorded back in the day about her mission with Chuck. It features Sarah talking about when she kissed Chuck and the day when she fell in love with him.

When Chuck returns to his apartment, Sarah drops by and tells him she believes what he told her. But that she doesn’t feel love or a connection to him. So she tells Chuck goodbye and she’s after Quinn as he took away her life. Chuck says goodbye and she leaves.

Chuck episode 11 “Chuck vs. the Bullet Train” recap

This episode begins in Tokyo, Japan with Chuck and Nicholas Quinn boarding a bullet train to a secret location.Quinn tells Chuck that Sarah’s dead, but is she? Nope! Her and Casey are hiding in two caskets on the bullet train.

Back at Castle, Morgan’s working with Ellie to determine if there’s any side effects/complications left from having the intersect including memory loss.

Sarah finds Chuck’s cabin and rescues him from danger. Elsewhere, Casey’s having problems opening the cargo door and gets confronted by Quinn.

But Sarah flashes and with Casey’s help locks Quinn in a casket. Sarah lets it slip that she “flashed” and tells Chuck she’s the intersect, surprise! Later, Sarah and Chuck trade stories about having the intersect and it’s benefits–like parkour!

At the Buy More, Big Mike isn’t too happy about Morgan’s idea to have public flu shots with two reps. But Jeff & Morgan are still wanting to figure out the deal with non-existent memories. The flu shots rep kidnap Alex by gunpoint as directed by Quinn.

On the bullet train, Sarah and Chuck are busy planning out their futures beyond Carmichael Industries. Until they get news that Alex’s been kidnapped. When Sarah and Chuck meet Casey, it turns out he’s being used as a pawn by Quinn who is feeding instructions to Casey via an earpiece. Chuck sends a text to Morgan to make sure Alex is safe, but she isn’t. Alex is tied up in an RV that doesn’t want to start with her kidnappers. Jeff & Lester are close by.

Back on the bullet train, Sarah and Chuck are brought to Quinn. She flashes, fights Quinn and throws him off the train. But Casey needed Quinn to stay alive to save Alex! Shortly after Sarah experiences the intersect malfunctioning in her head! Later, Sarah tells Chuck that she can’t control the flashing.

Ellie tells Chuck that Sarah needs an MRI to surpress the intersect. But until then, Sarah needs to be blindfolded to control her flashes. Ellie tells Chuck she’ll email him the surpression techniques from General Beckman to help with Sarah. But Sarah’s already forgetting key info like who Alex is.

Elsewhere, Casey directs Morgan and Ellie on how to rescue Alex. Before Morgan gets to save Alex, one of the kidnappers takes him too! Jeff & Lester are Casey’s only hope! Casey tells them that he along with Sarah and Chuck are spies. Meanwhile, Quinn’s still alive and makes his way back on the train.

Jeff & Lester are equipped with some heavy artiliery complete with flamethrower! They save Alex and Morgan. In return Jeff & Lester want the truth. Morgan takes them on a tour of Castle. Alex calls Casey and tells him she’s safe.

Back on the bullet train, there’s a network problem trying to download the intersect surpression. When Chuck tries to solve the problem, he’s met by Quinn! They fight and Quinn says until the intersect is his…he’ll never stop!

Sarah meets Quinn in the cargo area and he shoots her with a tranq dart as Casey & Chuck helplessly watch from another train car. Quinn then separates the cargo area car from Chuck & Casey’s car! Nooooo!

Later on, Sarah’s off the train and in a random warehouse. Quinn wants the intersect from Sarah with a surpression device. He wants her to work for him. He starts triggering flashes so that she forgets her memories.

Back at Castle, the team gets the news that Sarah set off her emergency beacon. Morgan, Chuck and Casey rush to the scene…but Sarah’s already gone! She wakes up in a hotel room to a knock on the door. It’s Quinn, and she doesn’t recognize him. He lies and says he’s her handler. Her new order is to kill Chuck, the man she doesn’t remember!

Chuck episode 6: “Chuck Versus the Curse” recap

At Castle, Chuck and Sarah are in danger after Decker’s shocking death (by Verbanski). Prison escapee Casey is back at Castle. Sarah tells Morgan and Casey about the Omen virus. Beckman (via satellite) tells them all…they’ve been arrested for treason and for Decker’s murder. It turns out Beckman was giving the team a message via morse code in the video, to run!

Morgan heads back to the apartment to wipe Casey’s hard drive before agents find it. He runs into Alex at the apartment. They’re both confronted by special agent Robin Cunnings (guest star Rebecca Romijn) and she’s looking for Casey.

Chuck and Sarah head to his cabin. Chuck thinks there’s a Bartowski curse — almost every Bartowski had to leave their family. They decide to bolt, but Chuck can’t leave without his “P.A.N.T.S.,” it’s actually “Private Artifacts Never To Share,” where Chuck and Morgan would keep their personal effects from their childhood, needed for an emergency.

Elsewhere, Ellie gets all dolled up for her dinner date night with Devin. At the restaurant Chuck’s open table account sets off a red flag for Cunnings and her team. During dinner, Ellie and Devin decide to pretend they’re spies for the night. Later on, some random dude tells Devin that “Project Eagle” is in effect and he’ll take Devin & Ellie to a secret location via a limo.

Chuck gets a notification via his phone about his open table account. Sarah and Chuck figure out Ellie & Devin were at the restaurant and now involved with the mission (unknowingly).

Casey finds Beckman at a roadside diner. Casey tells Chuck that one of Beckman’s men is driving Ellie & Devin and they are safe.

In their limo ride, Ellie and Devin are getting nervous about being on a real spy mission. They decide to jump out of the moving limo and run. Cunnings pulls up and shoots the limo driver. She tracks down Ellie & Devin are assures them Chuck sent her to pick them up, which is a lie.

Morgan works on a plan to break into Chuck’s place to pick up his P.A.N.T.S. kit.
Chuck and Sarah meet with Beckman at the roadside dinner.
Ellie & Devin are brought to Cunnings’ hideout. Cunnings calls Chuck saying he’s got 3 hours to hand over the virus or Ellie & Devin are dunzo. Beckman is reluctant to give Cunnings the real virus.
At the hideout, Ellie finds her phone via an agent. After Ellie checks her phone, she notices there was a call made to Chuck, she panics and smashes a bottle of wine on the agent’s head! Ellie tells Devin they need to get out of there!
Chuck takes the real virus and bolts to save Ellie & Devin. He confronts Cunnings, and notices Ellie & Devin are gone. Chuck is then tied up and Cunnings brings out a torture device to make him give up the Omen. But Ellie & Devin devise a plan to save Chuck but short circuiting the lights, right when Cunnings is about to torture Chuck. Momentarily after the lights return via a generator, Devin is captured.
Sarah and Casey head over to Cunnings’ hideout. She can’t believe Chuck would leave without her.
Chuck tells Cunnings the whereabouts of the Omen right when she’s about to torture Devin. When Cunnings gets the virus, she uploads it. Sarah and Casey come to Chuck’s rescue as bullets fly! Cunnings’ men are taken out. Sarah tells Chuck she was angry he was complete a mission without her.
Back at Castle, Beckman tells the team that Cunnings confessed to the conspiracy and all charges are dropped! She tells them another team is working on the virus. Chuck apologizes to Sarah for leaving, but he wanted her to be spared of the Bartowski curse. She tells him, in case he wants to leave ever again…she’s a trained assassin.
Morgan gets a call from Chuck that he doesn’t need his P.A.N.T.S. kit, afterall. Alex opens Chuck’s P.A.N.T.S. box and discovers its contents: a photo of Morgan and Alex.
Ellie & Devin are stoked to be back home from their awesome date/spy night.
At Castle, after some smooches Chuck and Sarah discover the Omen virus has been uploaded to the Internet and every system around the global is (potentially) infected!
Tune in next Friday as Daniel Shaw (guest star Brandon Routh) returns in a new episode of Chuck at 8/7c on NBC, here’s a preview:
