This week on Don’t Be Tardy For the Wedding, Kim and mom Karen try to move past their differences. Here’s our take on it:
So where were we?
Colin Cowie comes by to taste the food but Kim cancelled with her mom, so mama Karen texts that she will be sick on the wedding day!
“Port-A-Pology”
With only two weeks to the wedding, Kim calls in her mom’s brother John and they meet up to discuss Karen.
Uncle John says both mother and daughter are so similar that it’s no wonder they don’t get along. Karen hasn’t spoken to John in two weeks either! Kim asks if he will talk her down the aisle along side her father since he even bet cancer! But shouldn’t her mom be doing that??
Kim and Kroy ask former Falcons linebacker Coy Wire, to officiate at their wedding but he’s worried as it will be his first wedding!
Kroy wants to write his own vows and Kim’s shocked that she has to write some vows now too.
Derek J and Kim head off to look at port-a-potties with Owner of Atlanta Watercloset Christine Sweeney and Rob Adams. And of course the regular ones just won’t do for Kim…who is like the Goldilocks of toliets.
So they look at some trailers that will be just right for the big day…but they are just not perfect yet.
So they head inside to look at photos of the best most deluxe model they gots!
This model even come with an attended who keeps it all fresh – all day and night!
And finally Kim is happy, so it’s SOLD! But Jen is in the dog-house for being a no-show.
Later Ariana tries to help her mama write her vows to Kroy and she’s pretty good at it!
Finally, Jen shows up to help write Kim’s vows but saying “when I first saw your ass – it made my vajaja dance” isn’t really what Kim had in mind.
Even Brielle, Ariana and Chanel discuss their future weddings and Brielle asks her sister what would she serve to her guests to eat?
Ariana’s answer is awesome: CHEESEBURGERS of course! I think Chanel loves that idea as much as we do!
Kim schedules a private dress fitting just for her mom Karen in hopes of patching things up before the wedding. And her parents show up with a gift basket.
Kim’s personal stylist Shun is on hand with all the right selections but the gang isn’t really into the first dress.
While Karen is changing, Kim tells her dad Joe about her mother’s text.
Joe says he’s been married a long time and her mom is just feeling left out of her big day but she will be fine.
Karen tries on the second gown and it’s a hands down winner, even Joe loves it!
After they all discuss the meaning of Karen’s text and even Joe wants Karen to apologize to Kim.
So Karen does, twice because she laughed through the first one. But they decide to bury the hatchet…or did they?
And next time on “Maid of Dishonor”
Kim gets all painted for some steamy photos as a wedding gift for her man.
And with only a few days before the wedding, Kim cries to Kandy as her maid of honor Jen has been a no-show again.
Later Kroy confronts Jen for upsetting Kim…
and Kim starts drinking early as she hates her own wedding tent??
