Orlando Bloom, 33 and Miranda Kerr, 27 had a recent shotgun wedding and now there’s speculation it was because the supermodel is pregnant.

According to the Daily Mail UK, sources in Kerr’s homeland of Australia are saying she’s three months pregnant.

Earlier this month Kerr told a Sydney newspaper earlier this month, “I have always been very open about wanting to be a mother one day. And I’ve always thought Orlando would be a great dad.”

Australian columinist Jonathan Moran claims Kerr has told her business associates, family, and friends that her and Bloom are expecting.

The news of their nuptials came when Kerr cancelled an appearance at David Jones in Australia. She said in a statement, “David Jones very graciously released me during this period so we could celebrate an intimate ceremony and honeymoon together.”

In the past Kerr has spoken about her ideal family, “I’ve always wanted kids, so someday, eventually, yes, it will happen. My ideal situation would be to live on a farm in a solar-powered house with a hammock and a vegetable patch. When this is all over, that’s where I’ll be.”

The couple began dating in 2007.
