The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s NeNe Leakes is re-teaming with Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy on an NBC pilot.
According to Deadline.com, Leakes has signed on to Murphy’s new comedy pilot The New Normal.
The show is about a blended family with a gay couple and their surrogate.
She’ll play the role of Rocky, a recurring role.
Leakes recently played rival cheerleading coach Roz Washington.
RHOA airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s NeNe Leakes will guest star on Glee, reports UK’s Daily Mail.
The announcement was made by Glee stars Lea Michele and Chris Colfer when they appeared on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Leakes will play Roz Washington, the swim coach at McKinley high and a rival for Sue Sylvester (played by Jane Lynch). The swim team will be led by Sam (played by Chord Overstreet).
Leakes confirmed the news via Twitter, “Running through the house screaming Gleeeeee! Coach Roz Washington is gonna get that Sue Sylvester! I’m so proud of myself.”
She’ll guest star on two episodes of Glee in the Michael Jackson and Grease-themed episodes.
Leakes also Tweeted, “A special Thank u 2 Ryan Murphy the creator of Glee that believed n me & the cast 4 comin n my trailer welcomin me wit open arms.”
Both episodes are set to air in 2012.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta wants her own show, reports Star Magazine via RadarOnline.com.
A source tells Star, “NeNe has told friends that if she doesn’t get what she wants, she will quit. She’s saying that she’s too big for RHOA, and that Bravo doesn’t pay her enough.”
The source also says NeNe is furious that RHOA co-star Kim Zolciak recently got her own spinoff series.
“She’s furious that Kim got a show and she didn’t,” the source says. “NeNe thinks RHOA is all about her and it will crumble if she leaves.”
According to the source, Bravo execs were not too happy with her diva behavior on a recent appearance at Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.
A source says, “She acted nice to host Andy Cohen while shooting but laid into him afterward and said she wants her own show.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes recently spoke to Life & Style Weekly about why she chose fame and fortune over friends.
She told the mag: “It’s very difficult. You can’t trust a lot of people. Your girlfriends all change, and your family is now against you. There’s definitely a cost that comes with fame.”
Leakes is working on a shoe line and her own wine label called Miss Moscato.
She said people can be mean but that also comes with the fame. “I have never experienced so much hate, so much negativity,” she said.
From her recent stint on Celebrity Apprentice, she said “I’ve got a lot of shine and had things happen for me, and they’re definitely jealous.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes‘ son Bryson Bryant was busted for shoplifting last night in Atlanta, reports TMZ.
He was busted by Walmart security for trying to steal two Mach 3 razors worth $14 each.
Bryant was charged with shoplifting and a probation violation.
It’s not his first time being busted by cops, he was arrested for marijuana possession last year.

NeNe Leakes quit on last night’s episode of Celebrity Apprenticeand she didn’t really give a reason until now.
She tells TMZ “Trump was doing things to accommodate Star [Jones] and not me.”
She admits, “I’m not a quitter or a loser … I had to walk out of the show for my own sanity.”
Leakes also confesses she felt like the producers were trying to “provoke” her saying, “All of the manipulating … was very toxic. It was a very toxic situation.”
Does she have any regrets about leaving? Nope! She says, “I feel good about leaving and I don’t regret it. I don’t believe you need to act like that for charity.”
