Life & Style Weekly‘s June 4 2012 issue features Jessica Simpson’s wedding details including the date.
Jessica Simpson welcomed baby Maxwell just a few weeks ago, but the performer, designer and new mom has yet to slow down. Now she’s busy planning her wedding! An insider reveals exclusively to the new issue of Life & Style — on newsstands now — that Jessica and her fiancé, Eric Johnson, have set a new wedding date: Dec. 12, 2012 — 12/12/12.
The couple, who have been engaged since November 2010, reportedly had been planning to wed in Hawaii on Nov. 11 (11/11/11) but put their plans on hold after Jess discovered she’d become pregnant. With a new date set, the couple are still considering a laid-back beachside ceremony. “Jessica and Eric are eyeing the Hawaiian island of Kauai for the reception for around 60 family and friends,” the insider reveals.
But that’s not all the Fashion Star mentor has in the works. “Jessica is busy planning two very important events — Maxwell’s baptism and her wedding to Eric,” a pal reveals to Life & Style.
She’s hired celebrity party planner Mindy Weiss, who planned Jessica’s Charlotte’s Web-themed baby shower, as well as her 2002 wedding to Nick Lachey, to take care of the details for both extravaganzas!

Us Weekly’s April 23 2012 issue features news on the Kim Kardashian & Kanye West romance.
Imagine it: A double date between Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Jay-Z and Beyonce (with Blue Ivy in a stroller!).
Stranger things have happened. A pal tells the new Us Weekly, out now, that Jay-Z’s close friend and collaborator West, 34, has fallen “genuinely head over heels” for Kardashian, 31, with whom he was photographed gallivanting around NYC late last week.
“It’s not a PR stunt,” the source insists of the rapper and reality star. “They’re perfect for each other. He thinks she’s his Beyonce!”
Indeed, after years of a flirty friendship — West pursued Kardashian “for a long time,” another source says — the stars were finally aligned for the twosome (who share a fondness for luxury and the spotlight) to finally get romantic.
The “Otis” rapper split with model Amber Rose in 2010, and Kardashian is famously in the midst of an ugly divorce battle with Kris Humphries five months after she filed papers.
“Now that Kim has gotten over the Kris drama . . . she sees how much Kanye loves her,” a Kardashian source tells Us.

Katy Perry is featured in the May 2012 issue of Teen Vogue.
In the issue she talks her 3-D film Katy Perry: Part of Me:
“I wanted to document the tour, because when we started to book these really big venues, I felt like I was going all in. I wanted to show people this parade that surrounds me … I wanted them to see the engine. I think sometimes they look at me and wonder, How is it possible that she continues to have this kind of success? I wanted people to be able to experience the tour and all the joy it brought, which is why we shot it in 3-D.”
She also talks acting in more films:
“There was a time when I was going to be involved in The Help—just a small part, I wasn’t going to be Emma Stone or anything—but I couldn’t because the shooting schedule conflicted with the release of my record. And I was upset about that; I knew it was going to be an important film. Not that I need to do drama first, but I do want to do something that makes a strong impression. You don’t really get off the hook being a musician first … I feel like the stakes are really high.”

Katy Perry pays tribute to the Marine Corps. in her new video “Part of Me.”
In the video, Perry plays a woman who breaks-up with her cheating BF and enlists to become a Marine.
She told MTV, “This is one of the most aggressive videos I’ve ever done. It’s an affirmation of strength, so I wanted to go the strongest route I ever could.”
The song is reportedly not about her breakup with hubby Russell Brand. The couple split in late December.

After weeks of rumors, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi confirms exclusively in the new Us Weekly that she is 15 weeks pregnant — and engaged to the father, beau of one and a half years Jionni LaValle.
And the Jersey Shore star and LaValle, both 24, know just what detractors are thinking, they tell Us. ”I have different priorities now,” reformed party girl Snooki says. “I don’t care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I’m ready and he’s ready.”
Adds LaValle: “We are not going to screw this up.”
The once pouf-haired star and LaValle discovered the news “right after New Year’s,” she said. Snooki’s first thought? “‘S–t, I’ve been drinking!’ I was worried. It was New Year’s Eve and we were in Vegas, so I did go crazy.” she admits.
