People Magazine‘s June 11 2012 issue features Jessica Simpson and new photos of baby Maxwell!
Since Jessica Simpson and her fiancé Eric Johnson welcomed their daughter Maxwell Drew on May 1, “life has completely changed,” Simpson, 31, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!”
In this week’s issue, Simpson and Johnson give an exclusive interview, plus share the first photos of their little one, who’s inherited her mom’s eyes and her dad’s calm demeanor.
“We stare at her all the time,” says Simpson. “We can’t get enough!”
But becoming new parents hasn’t been without its hardships. Recovering from surgery – Simpson delivered via C-section – isn’t easy, she says, and nursing, which she does throughout the day, has become “a full-on job.”
Still, “It’s the worst if I have to pump and give Eric a bottle to give her,” says Simpson. “I miss holding her and having that closeness.”

New mom Jessica Simpson is on good terms with ex-hubby Nick Lachey–thanks to baby Maxwell!
Here’s what the National Enquirer reports:
Nick and Vanessa Lachey sent Simpson a gift basket to her hospital room when she gave birth to daughter Maxwell Drew on May 1.
Now Simpson believes her baby girl will have a ready-made playmate when Nick and Vanessa’s child arrives in September, insiders add.
“She and Nick have had their ups and downs since their divorce, and Jessica and Vanessa have sniped at each other for years. But for Jessica, that’s all water under the bridge. She’d love for her daughter and Nick’s child to grow up together. She’s even called him and Vanessa to tell them so.”
After Jessica married Nick in 2002, they became reality TV sensations with their series “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.” They divorced in 2006, and Nick wed Wipeout co-host Vanessa, 31, in July 2011.
While their new relationships have softened some hard feelings, Jessica has gone overboard with her happy family dream, according to another friend.
“Vanessa laughs at the thought of forming a mommy’s club with Jessica and becoming her BFF,” revealed the source. “She says Jessica is best appreciated from a distance. I think Jess read a little too much into that gift basket Nick and Vanessa sent.”

It’s a boy for Snooki! Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi exclusively reveals in the new issue of In Touch, on newsstands now, that she and fiancé Jionni LaValle are welcoming a baby boy in September.
“Everyone said I was going to have a boy, and they were right!” the Jersey Shore star reveals exclusively to In Touch.
Snooki tells In Touch that she and Jionni are deciding between two names – Lorenzo or Jionni Jr. And while she’s thrilled to welcome a son, the 24-year-old admits she was hoping for a mini-me. “I thought it was going to be a girl. I was hoping it would be, because all girls want girls,” Snooki says, at first disappointed, but adding, “It’s still my baby, no matter what. I’m excited either way!”
Proudly showing off her baby bump at the exclusive photo shoot, the mom-to-be says she’s traded in her beloved pickles and now craves icy, cold treats. “I love anything cold and juicy, like Italian ices.” But even more surprising? While some women find their sex drive enhanced during pregnancy, you won’t find Snooki and Jionni anywhere near the smush room! “Our sex life is hardly there! I just feel too icky and gross,” Snooki confides. “I’m so not in the mood to do stuff.”
Still, the once Jersey Shore wild child is happy to put her crazy days behind her and focus on her new life as a mom. “I’m not going to party hard anymore, even after the baby is born,” Snooki reveals. “Being a mom changes you.”

Jessica Simpson welcomed baby Maxwell just a few weeks ago, but the performer, designer and new mom has yet to slow down. Now she’s busy planning her wedding! An insider reveals exclusively to the new issue of Life & Style — on newsstands now — that Jessica and her fiancé, Eric Johnson, have set a new wedding date: Dec. 12, 2012 — 12/12/12.
The couple, who have been engaged since November 2010, reportedly had been planning to wed in Hawaii on Nov. 11 (11/11/11) but put their plans on hold after Jess discovered she’d become pregnant. With a new date set, the couple are still considering a laid-back beachside ceremony. “Jessica and Eric are eyeing the Hawaiian island of Kauai for the reception for around 60 family and friends,” the insider reveals.
But that’s not all the Fashion Star mentor has in the works. “Jessica is busy planning two very important events — Maxwell’s baptism and her wedding to Eric,” a pal reveals to Life & Style.
She’s hired celebrity party planner Mindy Weiss, who planned Jessica’s Charlotte’s Web-themed baby shower, as well as her 2002 wedding to Nick Lachey, to take care of the details for both extravaganzas!

One week after she welcomed daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson, Jessica Simpson gave her 5 million-plus Twitter followers an update on her baby and first-time motherhood — and all is very, very well!
“I am so in love with baby Maxwell,” the singer and Fashion Star mentor, 31, wrote Tuesday. “I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I’ve ever experienced.”
Maxwell, her first child with fiance Eric Johnson, arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles the morning of May 1, and weighed a whopping 9 lbs., 13 oz.
And, as Simpson recuperated at the hospital after Maxwell’s arrival, her maternal instincts kicked in — and then some!
“Everyone is marveling at what a natural Jessica is,” a source told Us. “She was born to be a mom!”

People Magazine‘s May 14 2012 issue features an interview with Khloé Kardashian as she’s fighting for her marriage.
Khloé Kardashian has gotten used to sharing her life on television, but now the reality star and her husband Lamar Odom arestepping back from the spotlight.
“We just wanted to prioritize a little,” Kardashian, 27, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive interview as the couple tables their show Khloé & Lamar until his basketball career is back on track. “We just wanted a little pause. Part of being married is knowing when your husband needs your support.”
While Kardashian says she always made sure cameras weren’t around during days when Lamar, 32, had a basketball game (he’s currently sitting out the season after a difficult trade to Dallas), now that they’ll only be appearing on E!’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and their own daily lives will no longer be on display, “there’s less pressure on us.”
That pressure had certainly been building. But Kardashian says, the risk of damaging her relationship with Lamar wasn’t worth it.
“I’m a modern girl, but you should put your husband first,” she says. “I like to think divorce is not an option.”
