Reality Weekly has a scoop about the new season of one of our fav shows Deadliest Catch!
Here’s what Reality Weekly reports:
No one says life at sea is easy. So when deckhand Chris “Whipper” Welch decided to leave the fishing vessel Seabrooke this past season because he was homesick for his wife, Deadliest Catch viewers understood.
But it was another matter for Whipper’s captain — and his big brother — Scott Campbell Jr. as well as the Seabrooke’s crew. They had to return to port in the middle of a lucrative fishing expedition and find another deckhand. They were not happy, to put it mildly.
But Whipper is returning for another season of the show. So are deckhands Josh and Jake Harris, whose future at sea was in doubt after the 2010 death of their father, Phil Harris, the caption of the Cornelia Marie. So how did Whipper get a second chance?
“If he wasn’t my brother, I would never have hired him back,” Captain Scott tells Reality Weekly in an exclusive interview. “But he kept bugging me and calling my house every day, begging for a job, and I felt sorry for him.”
