Talk about planning ahead: Christina Milian‘s hubby The-Dream filed for divorce nine days before the birth of their child Violet, reports TMZ.
The documents were filed on February 17 in Georgia with The-Dream aka Terius Nash claiming “there’s no hope of reconciliation.”
Milian gave birth to their daughter on February 26.
Nash also claimed the marriage as “irretrievable broken.”
He’s been in the news recently frolicking on the beach with his assistant Melissa Santiago.

Christina Milian and The-Dream have separated, reports UsMagazine.com.
His rep issued this statement:
“Terius ‘The-Dream’ Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward.”
It was pretty questionable when photos of The-Dream frolicking on the beach with some lady that wasn’t Christian surfaced. Turns out she’s his assistant of about a year, Melissa Santiago.
The couple were married in last September and have a five-month-old baby daughter Violet together.

In the April 19th issue of Us Weekly Christina Milian debuts her six-month-old daughter Violet.
Christina and her hubby producer The Dream welcomed Violet on Feb. 26.
She talks about Violet saying, “She’s got a lot of personality! She laughs a lot!”

According to People.com Milian, 28 and The Dream, 31 were married October 2009.

Christina Milian is currently being sued by her neighbor, 81 over an alledged dog attack.
According to TMZ, her neighbor claims he was viciously attacked by Milian’s dog in 2008.
Earlier this month Leo Skolion filed the lawsuit in L.A. claiming the dog attack left him with ”severe personal injuries,” which includes a ”huge chunk” out of his back arm.
Skolion went over to Christina’s home in October 2008 to talk about repairing a gate when one of her dogs attacked him.
Milian is currently expecting her first child with rapper The Dream.
