Freida Pinto is featured in the September 2011 issue of InStyle UK.
In the issue Freida talks London vs. New York:
“I’m kind of conflicted between London and New York. [Her BF/Slumdog Millionaire co-star Dev Patel] prefers London any day. He’s been born and brought up there, he knows people there…But I love the nomad life – it wouldn’t make a difference to me. I love London a lot, it’s one of my favorite cities in the world. But I would love to experience New York as well – and I guess now’s the time to do it.”
She also talks Dev’s fashion sense:
“He’s not always bang-on! I buy for him all the time – He’s got his own very good sense of fashion. He loves his Burberry; he wears it to most events – Burberry should give him a contract.”
She talks her relationship with Dev:
“I always say I don’t think there will be anybody who understands [their rise to fame] better than him. Not even my family – because they were not with me every step of the way, but he literally was and I was with him.”
Her new film Rise of the Planet of the Apes co-stars James Franco and opens in theaters on August 12.
