Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is featured in the July/August 2011 issue of Women’s Health.
Acting is new to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, being the center of attention isn’t. In addition to being a Victoria’s Secret Angel, the 24-year-old was the face of Burberry and has appeared in advertisements for brands such as BCBG Max Azria and DKNY. Last year, she was the subject of the book Ten Times Rosie, which features her in creative scenarios—including one in which she’s dressed only in body paint.
For her lunchtime interview at an L.A. restaurant, she shows up dressed a bit more conservatively in a cardigan and skinny jeans. Even in that understated attire, Rosie is a stunner—tawny hair, pouty lips, striking blue eyes, and a tall, lean build. But for someone who has made a living parading around in her “knickers” (a word she delivers in a charming British lilt), Rosie possesses none of the aloofness top models are infamous for. “People always tell me, ‘Gosh, you’re nice!’ ” she says. “Like they expect me to be a huge bitch.” Far from it. She’s quick to smile, thoughtful, and, you get the feeling, tons of fun. “I love to go out, dance, and have a drink!” she admits.
In other words, she’s just the kind of girl you’d expect Shia LaBeouf’s up-for-anything character, Sam Witwicky, to fall for.
