Teri Hatcher is featured in the June 2011 issue of Prevention.
In the issue Teri talks her love life outlook for 2011:
“For New Year’s, I took my parents and friends to Disneyland. At dinner, about ten of us went around the table and said what they wanted for 2011. When it was my turn, I said, “Everyone who loves me knows that this is the year I need to find a man.”
She also talks her favorite pastime:
“Road trips. I have my 1978 VW bus. There’s something about having no plan, no direction, being where BlackBerrys don’t beep. With our ambition, commitments, obligations ? to step away from that and have a place in your mind where you don’t have a plan or structure. Travel inspires you to understand something so much broader than your little tiny life and the little tiny things you get obsessed with.”
Teri gives a health update:
“It took me until March to recover from the broken ribs [from pole dancing on the Desperate set]. Then in June, I had a surgery that was…I don’t want to be more specific, other than saying that I’ve dealt with ovarian cysts my entire life. It was a bit scary, but everything is fine. During the recovery, I couldn’t lift anything or even vacuum until August.”
She’s currently featured on Desperate Housewives airing Sundays at 9/8c on ABC.
