Shania Twain is featured in the June 2011 issue of Redbook.
In the issue Shania talks when she knew hubby Frédéric Thiébaud was the one:
“I got to observe Fred going through the same thing I was, and I admired how he handled it. That is where I fell in love with him, because he was so exemplary in every way.”
She also talks her being open & honest in her new biography, there’s some info her son Eja, 9 doesn’t even know about:
“I’ve led such a private life that even he doesn’t know what I’m about — my own child. The first time he ever saw me cry was when I found out about the affair. I’m not a crier, but I thought, Gee, that’s not right. That was a wake-up call.”
Shania also talks about moving on after being hurt:
“Wear your scars like a badge. Someone hurt you, you lived through it, and now you can talk about it without rage and revenge in your heart.”
