Christina Aguilera is featured in the December 2010/January 2011 issue of Los Angeles Confidential.
The issue is also the mag’s holiday issue.
In the issue Christina talks about acting in her feature film debut Burlesque:
“It was pretty exhausting and draining. I’m used to being able to express whatever is in my head or my heart at the time through song, through my vocals. Playing someone else, I had to put myself completely on the back burner because I really wanted to see what made my character tick.”
She talks about her co-star Cher:
“When I met her, she greeted me with the biggest hug and was like, “I’ll tell you the same thing Meryl Streep told me when I first met her and worked with her on a film: ‘I’m so glad you’re here.’” It was a welcoming statement; to know we were in this together meant the world to me.”
Christina also talks about she sees in her future:
“I would love to do more film. I don’t necessarily want to keep on doing musical after musical. I’m interested in playing a completely different character—a little off the wall. I’m a hard worker; I’m really focused, and I think the sky’s the limit, to be honest. I’m keeping an open mind about the future.”
