Chicago Blackhawks star Jonathan Toews is featured in the October 2010 issue of Michigan Avenue Magazine.
In the issue the Canadian native talks about being “Captain Serious”:
“The guys know it gets on my nerves a little bit, so they say it to me all the time. [There are] things you don’t necessarily think of at first. I am so thankful to have a great bunch of supportive teammates. From day one I’ve made a lot of mistakes and learned a lot.”
He also talks about the perfect girl:
“Now we’re getting personal, eh? Someone cool and down to earth and maybe somewhat the opposite of me. Less goal-oriented, and spontaneous and free with how they plan their life. Or don’t plan, so to speak.”
