The season 2 premiere of Parenthood aired on Tuesday and we’ve got a recap:
Crosby stops by Adam’s for java, Gaby and Max are working sleepovers with Jabar and Camile calls to say that Zeb is in the barn dealing with a leak that he is gonna fix by himself, advising to wait for Adam, “did I come out of a vagina?” exclaims Sidney!
With a serious leak in the guest house, Adam shows up to help with repairs. Crosby video chats with his son to encourage some alone time, as Adam deals with his boss Billy Baldwin. Gordon, and Adam tries to pitch a lost kid shoe clicker… to which Billy says that it’s a great idea!
Adam’s wife quizzes daughter Haddie on teenage driving death stats as they race through the parking lot after four driving lessons. Joel helps to rebuild the roof on the guest house to discover more rotted beams…as Patty begs dad Adam to please reconsider driving lessons as Boss Baldwin breaks up the Braverman family moment. The roof of the guest house springs a leak, as Sidney asks Julia and Joel about the birds and the bees:
Sarah tells mom and dad about the shoe clicker…”I hear you, I see you.” Haddie side wipes a garbage bin and rips off the passenger side rear-view mirror off the family minivan under mom’s driving instruction:
Sarah asks Joel to help build her a desk…Max busts in on Haddie, to discuss his sleepover with Jabar. Crosby gets some online chat time with Jasmine, and Sarah stops by Adam’s office to discuss the shoe clicker.
Joel and Zeb continue work on the roof with an argument. Crosby tells Jasmine that he hates her over a European tour as Adam admits that the shoe clicker is not his idea to Gordon Baldwin. Max is all ready for Jabar’s sleepover…but Uncle Crosby says that Jabar can’t make it as Max melts down but Gaby helps.
Sarah’s home-away from home is repaired, as Joel and wife tries to work out the boy they could have…
Haddie duck tapes the side mirror back on and says sorry to mom, as mom admits she sees the worst as Max and Haddie share a sleepover in his bunk bed. Adam offers Sarah and internship and she accepts.
