A new episode of Teen Mom aired on Tuesday night and we’ve got a recap of what happened:

Catelynn’s mom April is going out of town, leaving Catelynn and Tyler to look after her brother Nick for a bit. This is a perfect time for them to reminisce about Carly since Nick is pretty much the age as Carly.

Catelynn and Tyler head to the adoption agency to give a gift to Carly for her birthday. Catelynn gets upset as she’s pretty hurt the way April treats her badly for giving Carly up for adoption. Tyler admits it was really hard giving up Carly for adoption but it all worked out in the end. They get to talk to Carly as well as Brendon and Teresa: Carly’s adoptive parents. They say that Carly’s been eating life crazy and started crawling.

Farrah heads back to her mom’s house for her advice as her apartment is costing beyond her means. Debra, Farrah’s mom says she’s getting the house across the street ready for renters, hint hint Farrah.

Farrah plans to spend her birthday with her parents. Michael and Debra pick up Farrah and Sophia in his red Beemer and after the drive for a bit and then car begins smoking a bit. Then pull over by a gas station and the car has sprung a leak. Farrah takes her car and the whole family heads to the zoo. Christina, Farrah’s friend heads over to Farrah’s parents house to continue to birthday celebrations. She writes her own rental guidelines to give to her mom. Debra gives Farrah a tour of the rental house, then Farrah gives her mom her list of rules.

Gary and Amber decide to start dance lessons for their wedding (they haven’t set a date yet). Gary’s heads out to work leaving Amber to take care of a grumpy Leah. In an attempt to calm Leah down by taking her on a drive. But that doesn’t go too well as Amber calls Gary at work with a screaming Leah in the background. Amber then takes Leah and a friend to go try on wedding dresses. Amber says she has doubts about marrying Gary. Gary and Amber reunite and are fighting again. Amber says Gary spoiler Leah and she even starts swearing in front of Leah. Amber is kicking Gary out again and this time he’s taking his stuff with him including his TV and sheets.Gary heads to his mom’s house as Amber vents to her friend about Gary. Amber cries saying if she gives him another chance, she’ll feel like a dumbass.

Maci still can’t believe that her ex-fiance Ryan is taking her to court to get joint custody of their son Bentley. Her new boyfriend Kyle is in town visiting her and she reveals to him that she still plans on moving to Nashville, Tenn where Kyle lives, before Ryan has a chance to get a court order saying she can’t move with Bentley more than 100 feet away.

Maci picks up Bentley from Ryan’s house and they head to Nashville for a couple of days. She meets with a College advisor about transferring to a new school in Nashville. Maci, Kyle, Bentley go and visit apartments in Nashville. Maci finds one she likes for $825 a month and she signs for it. Kyle and Maci head to her parents house to tell them the news about her apartment in Nashville. Who knew her parents have known Kyle for years!! Her dad says he’s uncomfortable with the news, but Ryan comes over to pick up Bentley. Although her parents have concerns for Maci, it seems like she’ll still be able to move to Nashville.
