ABC has released a promo photo of the cast of Desperate Housewives, and it includes newbie Vanessa Williams.
Daily Mail UK gives some insight into Williams’ character:
According to the show’s storyline, Vanessa will appear as Renee, a cougar whose marriage to a Major League baseball player is on the rocks.
“I hope I bring a little glamour, a little of the outside, out-of-town girl into Wisteria Lane,” she says about her new role.
Vanessa’s character decides to go after Bree Hodge’s (Marcia Cross) younger beau, played by Brian Austin Green.
The seventh season of Desperate Housewives airs September 26 on ABC.
