Angelina Jolie is featured in the September 2010 issue of InStyle Australia Magazine.
In the issue the Salt actress talks about her kids understanding what she does for a living:
“The older ones do—we explain it to them. When Mad [Maddox], Pax, Z [Zahara] and Shi [Shiloh] came to the hotel room, the Salt trailer was playing on the television. Most of them were uninterested, but Pax got upset because he saw me lying on the floor with my feet tied up and someone about to hit me. He freaked out. Images like that confuse children. But then I explained to him that I was fine, and he calmed down.”
She also talks about the kids visiting her on set:
“I had hand masks and a face mask and was totally unrecognizable. I had Mad picked up from the hotel; he’s the oldest and he loves everything to do with the military. I sent him a message, asking him [if he wanted to] meet an army officer. They brought him into the room where I was sitting. He looked at me, said, ‘Hi’ and shook my hand. Then I said, ‘Sweetheart’ very gently, and he shouted ‘Muuuuum! Take that off!’ He totally freaked out. [Laughs] But the kids like coming to the set. They like playing with things like ropes, wigs and fake blood.”
