A new episode of The Bachelorette aired on Monday and the guys traveled from Istanbul, Turkey to Lisbon, Portugal along with Ali. Here’s what happened:
1-on-1 Date with Roberto
Ali and Roberto head out on their one-on-one date at a castle (nice) Sao Jorge. They dance and kiss in the streets. On this date they are acting more like a couple than ever before!
1-on-1 Date with Chris
As the season has progressed we’ve liked Chris more and more. He just seems as though he’s being genuine and doesn’t have any hidden motives.
Anyways Ali and Chris head out for their picnic and decide to take to a Vespa to their destination. Chris can’t really drive too well on the Vespa but he gets an A for effort.
The two head out to a winery and Chris gives her a bracelet (good job Chris). Ali once again asks him about his late mama and what she could expect if she visits his hometown.
2-on-1 Date with Ty & Frank
Ali takes Ty & Frank on a two-on-one date that starts pretty awkwardly. The trio head out on a helicopter ride to a castle. During dinner Ali says she’s ”all over the place” as she’s thinking a lot about hometown dates.
All pulls Ty aside and she admits she’s more of a ”worker” rather than a stay-at-home wife or mom. Ty says, he hopes Ali found out what she needed to know in order to meet his family.
Ali and Frank have some one-on-one time together. Frank admits to Ali that he lives with his parents (whoa didn’t see that one coming).
1-on-1 Date With Kirk
Ali and Kirk head out on a fairy-tale date in a palace. Ali admits she has a lot on her mind. She says it’s a big deal to meet someone’s parents. Although she’s pre-occupied on the date, Kirk still makes an effort to get through the date. After dinner they walked towards the stairs of the palace and were serenaded by a Portuguese singer/band.
The Bachelor‘s Jake vs. Vienna
Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi sit down with host Chris Harrison for he first time since their split. Things are tense between the two to say the least!!
Vienna says things in their relationship began changing a month after they got together.
Vienna defends her own decision to sell her story to the tabloids, “I know Jake and I knew that as soon as we broke up he was going to run to a media outlet and tell his side of the story. I wanted to make sure I had a voice also. I haven’t had a voice this entire time.”
Jake’s first words were directly towards to Vienna: ”I’m so mad with you, I’m disgusted by you.”
Vienna says there was no infidelity. They never had cheating issues in their relationship. She also said they broke up twice, she’s ”given the ring back twice.”
Jake started talking a bit and gets cut off by Vienna. He says, ”baby, be quiet while I’m talking,” and ”stop interrupting me.” That’s when Vienna had enough and walked off. That pretty much ended the episode.
So who went home??
Ty Brown. When he was leaving after the rose ceremony he admits ”he’s disappointed.” He also says he was so sure he was taking Ali home to his family.
Who got a rose??
Roberto, Chris L., Frank, and Kirk.
What can we expect next week on The Bachelorette??
The remaining guys take Ali on their hometown dates. Kirk’s dad does taxidermy. We get to see Roberto in his baseball outfit. We finally get to see Chris’ dad and Frank looks like he’s doubting his existence on the show.
The Bachelorette airs Mondays on ABC.
