Jada Pinkett-Smith is featured in two covers of Essence Magazine‘s July 2010 issue.
In the issue Jada talks about her nude photo shoot:
“In all honesty, when I walked out there and disrobed, I felt like a queen… like there was nothing I couldn’t do. I was wearing a really cute pair of taupe-coloured shorts and nothing else. And I thought, ‘This just looks like scared.’ Everything comes off, but the shorts? Fear is what communicates. We can’t be afraid of our own sexuality or our own black skin. So I said, ‘Why not take these off?”
Her show HawthoRNe was given a second season. Jada won an Image Award for her role as Christina Hawthorne. We love this show and got hooked on it last year!! The show co-stars Michael Vartan and will continue this year on TNT.
