Where were we?
Zeek’s sick and doesn’t want to tell the family. Sarah wants a baby. Amber’s miss flirtypants with her new boss at work.
“Tough Love”
Bob has an invite for a speaking engagement in Sacramento and wants Amber to join him.
At school, Max is picked last for basketball and he’s not thrilled about it. He tries to use his disability as an excuse.
At the drug store, Crosby goes to pick up his allergy medicine but the pharmacist confuses Zeek’s meds with his.
Drew finds a pregnancy test in Sarah’s bathroom and freaks out which leads Sarah to tell him that she’s trying to have a baby with Mark.
The next day, Mark tells Sarah that he’ll try and hang out more with Drew. Later, Mark picks up Drew from school and go out for some food, “two dudes eating burgers,” as Mark puts it. But Drew’s not a talkative one!
Crosby Googled his dad’s meds and learns he’s taking it for aneurysm and blood clots.
Julia reunites with Zoe and tells her about a new paralegal position at her old law firm. But Zoe’s hesitant to take the job, until she hears how much money she’ll be making. Later, Julia learns that Zoe never applied for the job! Joel says that they’ll have to cut ties with Zoe after the baby arrives. But Julia wants to help Zoe, whatever it takes!
Crosby heads to his parents’ home to talk to his mom about Zeek’s meds. But Camille doesn’t give any info to Crosby.
Adam and Kristina talk to Max playing team sports. Max wants them to write a note saying he doesn’t have to attend gym class. The next day, Adam, Crosby, Zeek have a fun basketball game with Max. But Zeek gets tired fast and him and Crosby take a break. Zeek denies he’s sick when Crosby asks.
Haddie helps Amber pack for Sacramento. Amber gets pretty defensive when Haddie brings up how cute and young Bob is. Later Haddie tells Kristina that she thinks something might be going on between Amber & Bob.
Later, Adam breaks the news to Max that he has to attend gym class. But Max says he gets bullied and is called a loser at school, so Adam lets him skip a day of gym class.
The next day, Max bonds with Micah (who also has a disability) playing video games on the sidelines in gym class.
All goes well with Bob’s speaking engagement. Afterwards, Amber & Bob get to know each other over drinks and she ignores a call from Haddie.
Zoe tells Julia thanks but no thanks with the job offer but it wasn’t for her since she doesn’t have a high school diploma. Julia says she’s disappointed, as she wants Zoe to change her life for the better. They argue. Later Julia returns to drop off GED flashcards for Zoe.
Mark and Drew have dinner together. Drew admits he thinks his mom will run off and start a new family with Mark, leaving him and Amber to fend for themselves. Later, Mark tells Sarah to talk with Drew about how he’s feeling.
Elsewhere, Amber & Bob are totally making out on his bed…until Kristina visits them! Kristina yells at both of them, tells Bob to leave and drives Amber home.
Drew tells Sarah he thought when Seth would get better that his parents would reunite. Drew wants her to tell Seth about her plans with Mark.
Zeek finally comes clean to Crosby that he has irregular heartbeats and was scared when he found out, they hug it out.
The next day Max invites his new friend Micah over to play video games. Micah’s parents tell Adam & Kristina that his son has Spina bifida which is why he requires a wheelchair. The parents are happy to be new friends!
Sarah finally calls Seth (who’s working as a chef) to tell him she’s trying to have a baby with Mark. Seth approves but wants her to tell the kids.
